Finally got her new shoes!!! FN BFD wheels wrapped with LT275 70 R18 Nitto Terra Grappler G2. A little rubbing on both front at full lock. Took the little front mud flap off and pushed back the lower plastic inner fender piece for the fix. Shout out again to Dustin at FN Wheels for excellent customer service.

Got bored so I took the dash apart and installed the Rago dash plate. I installed an ICS USB charger that is tapped to the 12vt lighter port. To prevent dash flexing, I drilled out an ICS mounting plate to match up with the top plate and screwed both sides together. It won’t be going anywhere. Now to determine which mounts to buy. Any suggestions?

Did you also do the vent rings? And also any advice on the way you did the door panel trim?

I was robbed.... Or, maybe just starting my interior phase

Long story short, full removal of everything except the dash itself; near 100% coverage with CLD and then 3M Thinsulate on all panels (floor, rear wall, pillars, headliner, inner/outer doors and door cards) and voids; swap to matte black SR dash trim pieces w/ AJT for the rest, factory SR black interior door handles, wrapping the silver door trim and steering wheel trim matte black to match; Tacoma perforated leather steering wheel, headunit/amp/door speakers/hideaway subs; switch/constant 12v distribution on back wall fed by 1/0 power from engine bay; Ambient lighting for footwells; WeBoost Drive Reach OTR, LTE Router, Icom 2730A, & Uniden SDS200; 400w Inverter; Switch Pros 9100; OEM tailgate lock w/ Mountain Hatch tailgate panel....

Also have the whole second battery setup to add (in the bed); but that probably won't get done before next weekend

I've considered doing sound dampening material but never knew how much it actually knocked it down. So you know if anyone has done anything to show the difference in decibels? Just curious honestly. Good work tho man!

I recommend it if you like a quieter interior and a better fuller sound system. I've taken work related calls in my cab and so far no complaints. It'll probably knock down quite a lot or at least some decibels andther than that not that hard to do, it'll just take some time and elbow grease.

I've had mine for about a week. It's a little jittery on bumpy roads but not bad at all. Wireless charging is a plus too.

    Added an auxiliary fuse box.

Didn't do a relay as at least half the connections will need constant power, even when truck is turned off.

Gecko hood lights installed. Great kit, but think I might change out for brighter, cool white kit.

Not sure if anyone has actually measured it before/after on the Tundras... Last year I went down a deep, deep rabbit hole on my 4Runner. What started as just doing the Kicker/Subaru drop in dash speakers turned into a full system, twice over and full sound deadening everything except the headliner with CLD/CCF/MLV. It made a huge difference for audio performance, and a "slight" difference in road noise (what I was really after). That being said, that truck has a full roof rack and RTT, so there is a good bit of wind noise, and the 4.0L is definitely down on power, so cruising in 3rd/4th gear at 80mph is loud no matter what you do.

In an effort to knock down the noise in the Tundra as much as possible I decided to do this off the bat. The Wildpeak A/T3Ws aren't a loud tire, but there is definitely road noise (to be expected given how little noise suppression material exists from the factory). . I'm hoping to have the truck back together by mid-week, depending on weather, and have ~5hrs of highway driving coming up next weekend so I'll see what the difference is then

I would figure the sound difference in an audio perspective would be quite noticable. I would be more interested in the road noise. I ask mostly because if I get a sequoia in the next few year (fairly likely), I considered going this route and making it a more "comfortable" ride(if that's the phrasing I'm looking for). Would like to knock that out first before I go and put our 3 car seats in and all lol. Itll be some good info once all done

Yea this is really my goal with it all, especially since we spend a good bit of time on the highway on our trips now (we've explored a good bit of the East coast, so most of our trips now start with 24-36hrs of single-shot highway driving).

The GF's Tacoma is our "comfy" truck, so that'll be getting the full treatment as well... but after it warms up a bit more and I don't need to rely on our camping diesel heater to warm the interior of the truck up

I will be sure to give my opinion on them once I have some time with em. I too figured it was a bit of a chance since I hadn’t seen anyone running it on the Tundra. I’ve only had my truck about three weeks now.

The rear will remain stock for now but if it has negative rake I will lift the rear and get extended rear shocks. Believe I saw somewhere on a Tacoma forum from an eibach rep they are engineering a rear to match and will sell as a kit.

I love everything about the ProHolder. EXCEPT!!! Just wondering if you have the same issue "sometimes"? Mine does not ALWAYS open up all the way, wide enough for me to insert my phone. It's a Iphone 7plus. I purchased through Amazon. When I questioned them about that, one purchaser commented that it happens to him occasionally also. He found that it helps to warm it up. :notsure: What???
