What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I live 12 minutes from the flight park on the mountain.

I'll never understand living up north and not being able to do anything more than 1/2 the year. You can have that. LOL

 

You just have to do something else for the other half the year. Ski, snowboard, snow machine, stay inside and read or play video games, etc.

Did you have to remount the park assist sensors after installing the bumpershellz? I'm thinking about trying some over my chrome, but a little worried about a good color match.

 

I like snow, but not for more than 1/2 a year. I'm good for a week of fun stuff, then it can go away.

 

Then you live in the right part of the country. I miss snow if I don't have it. It's depressing.

 

I finished up my AJT interior black out. Turned out way better than expected, I don't know why I waited so long to do this.

 

Yes I did it was super easy. I was a little worried about how difficult it would be to install but they have excellent instructions and videos.

Man oh man, I would be lying if I said that installing this was a breeze... First off it came pretty beat up so I had to hammer it back in place (that wasn't difficult at all, besides the poorly done welds came apart).


What the challenging part was removing the old rivets (I think thats what they were, highlighted in red) that held the previous owner's organizational brackets. Had to completely disassemble to arm rest and use needle-nose pliers to break the ends of the rivets. Other than that, super happy with how it turned out. Probably gonna rearrange some of the magnets to make it easier to draw my TP9.

 

I know it's too late now, but I just drilled my rivets out. I didn't have to take the console apart at all.

EDIT: I did have to use my Dremel to carefully cut two of them, but I still didn't have to take anything apart.

 

I have Toytec Boss on the front, lifted about 3” and coachbuilder +2 shackles with Toytec aluma 2.0 shocks on the rear. I am about 7/8” higher in the rear which allows for towing sag.

 

I didn't even think about drilling them.... FML.

I thought about using the dremel but didnt want a bunch of plastic shooting all over my truck

 

Are you ceramic coated?

 

no sir...had just washed it right before that picture and hadn’t been waxed in a while before that.

 

I didn't have to drill anything, just some finagleing and was able to get it to drop in. (almost losing the tip of my thumb when it finally dropped in)

 

I only drilled the rivets out to remove the previously installed tray. No drilling required to install the safe.

What grille is this? Did you modify it at all?

 

After like 6 weeks, finally got the truck back. It’s almost done, just need to get PPF, Ceramic Coating, and then Ride Rite Bag system installed.

 

That green with bronze wheels is an eyecatcher. Not familiar with those wheels either. What kind are they?

I searched high/low for a bronze wheels that worked with the Army Green and it turned out well luckily. Because the shop said “once they mount them I am a owner” lol

The floor mats are WeatherTech Floor Liners. I have them on all my vehicles, they are a lifesaver especially when it’s snowing or raining.

 

Trucks looks badass! Army Green and Bronze wheels are a perfect match (however I'm baised to that thought)
