I also recently got a Cplay2air for the Tundra. Had one for about 6 months i was swapping back and forth between the 4Runner and Tundra. It hiccups once in a while, but all-in-all, I like it.

Let us know what you think. I used one for a good long while in a previous GMC. It worked okay for navigation apps, but music streaming was horrid. It would play great for a little while and then quickly start degrading to the point it was unbearable. They recently came out with a firmware update and I am hoping that fixes some of the problems.

Thanks Jim (and thanks for being LEO)

Have you (or anyone else) had experience with that particular source? I'm really partial to genuine OEM parts and don't have experience with them...

Does this remote start kit turn off the truck when you open the door like the others? Honestly, that is what is stopping me from getting one for my truck.

I installed mine so it is out of the way. I have only occasionally heard a very slight skip on Spotify. We went on a trip this weekend and I heard it skip maybe three times on a 6 hour drive. Here is my install:

Have made the decision to go with a Readylift 4"/2" Lift. I hear good things about Readylift. Am I wrong, should I go with the much less expensive 3"/2" lift or should I go a coilover lift like the Toytec Aluma?

I don't off-road, maybe a dirt trail now and then but it's not often. I'd like a leveling effect with a modest lift. Nothing insane but more than just a level.

I know there will be tons of opinions on this so please chime in if you're interested.

I was in the same boat. 95% mall crawler with some occasional dirt/muddy roads for deer hunting or fishing or whatever....not looking to build a rock crawler or anything crazy like that. I went with the Rough Country 3/1.5 lift/level. Im perfectly happy with it. Down the road I may go bigger once the truck isn't my daily driver any more, but there is really no reason for me to.

Wife informed me she needed to buy me another Christmas present. Don’t have much right now so I told her the pedal commander has $50 discount going on right now. She saw the price and said think of something cheaper.... ordered my bed lights from Matt Gecko, can’t wait! Not saying Matt is cheap, he has quality stuff and it just fits the budget right now. Ive been wanting these lights for a while but a pedal commander would be soooo cool! Guess I’ll have to wait till April, unless someone out there feels they would like to give to the needy and not the greedy! :hattip:

Just picked up my first Tundra 3 weeks ago. Upgraded from 2017 Tacoma TRD OR since baby #2 is due in January. Added bed rack, RTT, lift, wheels and tires. Before picture isn't great but as you can see I'm working on the exterior chrome delete.

I remember seeing your orig photo of the crooked lights but can't seem to find it now.... Since the liner guys are saying they can't blend in a re-spray without it showing, do you think you could paint (likely w a small brush) the sliver of bare surface that's exposed when you straighten out the light? It won't be textured but maybe if the blk is just right and we're just talking about 1/8" or so of surface, it may be your best option.

I picked one up as well and have had no issues with the sensor and the quality of the Grille is very good. I couldn't be happier with it especially for the price I paid.

I thought about doing just that, but I’m coming to accept the crookedness. I'm OCD. One of my coping mechanisms is to obsess about my own work, and let the other stuff slide. Since it came from the factory (Gulf States) like this, it's less of a big deal. Plus, it has no impact on function.

I can totally relate. I cringed at the thought of mentioning to leave it as is.... but in the end I think you landed on the best all around solution.

Personally I find it very challenging to get work done by others; bolts get stripped, steering wheel covers get scratched, consoles get scratch, seats get stained and on and on. Those aren't even made up examples....

I feel the same way, but I'm so busy these days I've gotta pay people to do things that I used to tackle myself. Sucks. No one will take care of your things like you will.
