My only problem was trying to figure out where to put my toggle switch. Remembered that my after market headlights made my headlight adjustment null. So it was a perfect spot and makes it look factory EOM.lucky me all my factory light switches are in one area

Uhhh, the Tundra grille is NOT made in Japan. Take a moment and think about the costs they would have shipping full production volume from Japan to Texas. It’s a part that is large and mostly air. It’s sourced in North America.

More like its on backorder from the supplier due to a running change in the Toyota emblem. Dealer parts guy blowing smoke at you. I would recommend you take moment and read ultimate parts thread from Roman. Pay special attention to the part about the emblem change in the 2020 model.

What makes this kit so expensive? Is there a PCB or it just resistors, wire and connectors?

Yea, some say I’m crazy...but I love a challenge and not afraid to just dive into a project...never did a lift before either and just dove in head first with this truck, installed it myself in the garage...come to think of it, I may be a little insane :monocle:

I did read the thread from Roman and worked with the parts manager at the dealership my wife has a relationship with. I have the new emblam which is a different part number than Roman's thread. Since the grille is so new not mayn extras lying around. Not going to argue for the price I am paying.

I fabricated it from a piece of aluminum angle and attached to grille with a short sheet metal screw through the plastic flange. I drilled a small pilot hole to prevent cracking.
Also put a glob of black RTV silicone in the hollow space below the screw to act as adhesive for additional support.

The Running for Tacos kit does not include any mounting hardware. The camera only has a vertical 5/16" threaded stud.

    Thanks!
If it was going to be seen... I wanted it to look like it came from Toyota this way. It blends super good with the grille and provides a perfect image.
I had my wife crouch down in front of the truck to mimic a small child in the blind area and she couldnt get low enough to avoid being seen.
You would need to be laying flat, directly under the front bumper to avoid the camera.

Nice job and wifey help get the correct view. Your right about not having a bracket to hold camera. I used a small bracket and drilled (2) small holes the size of my screws and attached behind my grill just Right bellow the top, those with BULL BARS will be blocking the view. But at the height you can see right infront of the bull bars/bumper and about 3” to spare (if I move up close to an object ie; another car bumper/and my bar is in view) perfect 3”before I tap that “ASS”/bumper)......the pic I have about 2’ plus 3”gap

I have never been a fan of cold air intakes but I wanted to give the STILLEN a try as it looked like a good setup, I also modded it a bit and done the SAMB on it as well. Came out really nice IMO.

Was the clear coat part of the G2 caliper kit, or something in addition to it?

I had a hydraulic bottle jack in good shape and bought a couple of parts from them (including the bag) to make myself an on/off road jack kit. Saved probably 50% off buying an all-in-one kit from the site. Great quality on their parts, BTW. Worth the prices they charge.

Great idea to do the SABM at the same time. From the upper view pic, it still has the stock inlet as well as the front? So a total of three inlets with the SABM? I’m unfamiliar with the Stillen intake, but really dig that front inlet.
