Finally did the classic Plasti-Dip on the console. Really hated how dirty the chrome looked, plus the sun glare.
Both trims pop right out and I am loving the black.
    https://www.ajtdesign-llc.com/online-store/Shift-Gate-Trim-Ring-2014-Tundra-BLACK-p166390163

Just ordered this snap on Trim for the chrome too.

Removed the OEM Steps. Always thought they looked odd. Waiting for the Tyger Blade Running Boards to be back in stock.

Next up is a mounting system for two Fuelpax. I am looking to order the Cali Raised LED Bedside Molle but waiting to hear back on sizing for 6.5 ft bed. https://caliraisedled.com/collectio...2007-2020-toyota-tundra-side-bed-molle-system . Opinions welcome.

    Fun Sunday!

Your welcome. I used some left over 400 super fine sand paper from Ace hardware to scratch it up a little before spraying with primer, paint, then clear coat. I followed the can directions 10mins between light sprays and I waited 30 mins between primer, paint and clear coat.

Yes I did cut my new weathertech mat. If you do this leave your mat in and mark your template on it. Then cut your mat and remark the template squares and then cut the carpet and foam. Make sure you cut on the inside of your marker lines so it fits tight. It's a easy mod but I was nervous doing it.

Don't go to crazy with sand paper just scuff it up a little so primer can stick good. Also I cleaned it with klean strip prep all. Then I whipped it down with clean microfiber cloth before painting.

Add Diode Dynamic fog lights today, they are awesome. Had too use a few zip types to help secure the bracket but nothing major.

Washed mine for the first time yesterday... dang, there's a helluva lot of surface area to clean! And being 5'6" tall, the roof, windshield, back window, and middle of bed cover were tough! Standing on a ladder in a wet, soapy environment stretching to reach the middle... what could go wrong? lol

Added the awning to the bed racks. Now we wait for campsites and beaches to open so we can test it out. All else fails, we may just head deep into the woods for a test run. MVIMG_20200503_154209.jpg MVIMG_20200503_153228_LI.jpg InkedMVIMG_20200503_153212_LI.jpg

Thanks a lot! I also had the same idea. I tried on the back corner first... Yup, I got lazy real fast but I admit I like the look too!

No worries, brother! I copied from those before me too so... right on!

I thank you for the comments! Thanks for looking.

Awesome, I used to work in interior paint and even did some auto body with my cousins in Texas but ... you know... life keeps happening. Thank you!

 :hattip: Thank you kindly sir!

Ron's suggestion works great too! I have used that same technique on a couple of other projects.

Every time I detail the truck reminds me of why I now pay to have it done. No detail shops are open around my area, so why not do it myself?

Power wash body and underbody, foam bath, claybar and wax, and interior detail. Started 8 AM and finished just now. Definitely gonna do a paint correction next time, as there are plenty of "defects" from the factory. But anywho, glad its clean.

Well, no pictures, but I just had ********* install a sound system in my 2020 Tundra. It sounds awesome. Customer service has been great so far.

My next project is to paint the tow hooks and the calipers.

Are these headlights plug-n-play or is there additional wiring?
Thought about these for my 2015, but electrical stuff and me don't do well together...I can plug stuff in and then it's downhill from there.
And it sounds like you have a cool wife...we have that in common. Thanks!
