Installed a pop lock. Bought it more than two years ago for my old 2011 TRD but never got around to installing it. Luckily same fit for my 2016 Platinum.

Love it, glad I finally found the time to install it.

heh, i tried installing mine today as well but could not get the hitch bolt loose no matter how hard I tried. I don't have a breaker bar but was hoping I could break it loose with my regular ratchet.

Thanks for the compliment on my build Tim I appreciate it!!! It's seems everytime I upgrade something on the truck I see something else I want too do. And my math goes something like
My wife thinks I spent 100 dollars
What I actually spent 400 dollars
    So not too bad:thumbsup:

Nice looking truck! What’s your rim / tire / suspension setup? Also, what part of AZ are you in? I’m in Chandler / Gilbert.

After installing some LED bulbs for the license plate lights a while back, noticed some occasional flickering, so ordered some direct fit LED lamps with 380 lumens each and swapped them in. Well, these might be overkill now, as they're so bright they overpower the backup camera's visibility night. Sure can see the hitch though! Daytime pic with both lights shows new on the left, and old LED bulb (which was already bright) on right. Five minute job.

Looks great! Getting ready to buy the AJT products. Is the shift knob a little shorter by chance than stock? Does anyone know if the TRD knobs are a little shorter? Keep spilling my coffee hitting the stock one.

No easy task working behind a factory drop in liner, but was not about to uninstall the cover, the deck rails and pull the liner...

but the hard cover drain tubes now exit through the factory bed grommets.

Took some twisting of the arms and wrists but glad it’s done.

Now I know why I put it off for 5 months.

Went up Sumas Mountain Regional Park FSR and got it dirty. Realized I need better tires and ditch the loud and practically impossible to balance chinese garbage (33x12.5) so I placed an order for 295/70/18 Falken Wildpeak at3w tires

I heard those same stories too. I only pulled down the rear part of the liner and by pull down I mean I only undid the fasteners along with loosening the rear pillars. Funnest part is trying to reach in to undo the two nuts that hold it on without dropping them inside...
