What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Pro Tip: I put all of the screws back into the fender wells that I could. That way I can’t lose them. Also, on the forward front flaps. There is a bracket behind the plastic that it’s fastened to. You’ll have to dig that out From behind the liner once you get the flap off. You’ll hear it fall.

 

Not sure if I'd be able to sell it off separately, but PM me and I'll see if I can make something work!

 

oh boy did I need that pro tip about an hour ago. I did the fwd and aft flaps in the front wheel well, and I did the same about replacing the screws, but I did not realize there was a metal bracket only held on with those two screws. I was able to get the passenger side done without the bracket falling by replacing the screws as I removed them. not sure why that bracket is preferred to a couple of nutplates...

 

Sounds like it’s done at any rate.

 

Found these locally for $250. He no longer had the truck, so I win.

Didn't plan on changing the tires and wheels but now I am freaking tempted. I ordered the Coachbuilder kit so now I just may get new 35x12.5 17 instead of bigger 18s. My wife is going to kill me.

 

Added ditch lights last night. Easy plug and play kit from Cali raised

 

I liked the black ones more ☻

 

NEXT TO BE ORDERED is that 3rd brake light. HOWEVER.... Then I will have to update the tail lights to match, gonna have to wait .... I have a love hate with your post right now

Easy plug and play but doesn't show a picture with the lights on

 

One door down! Definitely notice a difference when you tap on the outside of the door, we’ll see if it makes a difference for road noise. First time doing sound deadening but this Kilmat is very easy to work with.

 

I tried to take a picture but it kept coming out blurry. I will take one when it starts to get dark later today

 

Just giving you a bad time look forward to a photo. Been wanting to see the cali ditch lights.

 

That's a steal for the wheels.
35s for a 17" are cheaper than for an 18", so it will not be much difference including the cost of the wheels.

Finally got the black overlays! Too expensive lol

 

Was able to fully complete 3 and the inside of the 4th door before running out of one box....only one of 2 was delivered today even though they were ordered together .... But the difference is noticeable! Road noise is reduced, Music is improved, and it just feels more solid when driving. I went the route of covering as much of the inner skin that I could and then covering the holes on the inner skin, covering the all the inner skin would have been over Kilmat....lol. Pretty simple job but great benefit. Doing the back wall and part of the back floor tomorrow if my other box comes in.

 

Does this plug and play or do you have to splice into current harness? Very interested if plug and play.

This happened to me as well when I removed my flaps....on the bright side you will only do it once lol

 

Added New wheels!! method 702 with 325/70r18 milestar Patagonia’s, took a trip to Yuma and all I can say is wowww truck handled everything like a champ
