What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Hmmm....thought for sure the front was lifted a bit. Mine still stock as well but hoping to get 5100’s done in the front soon

Ive had mine for about 2 years now and love it its one of those things where you get used to and keep bumping it up . I keep mine on sport +3 thats where i like it . Be aware when you take it somewhere and sombody else drives it turn it off . a few times when im at the tire shop i hear my tires squeal and im thinking thats my truck.

Added the 2018 LED Headlights and Off Roadtown LED fog pods. Also finished the interior chrome delete with @AJTDesigns Climate rings and shift gate.

 

I'll keep my eyes peeled!!! Baseball is around the corner!!

I'm going to have to do this...my phone charging cord has a romance going with the transmission lever. Constantly having to untangle the two like a couple of horny teenagers.

 

Did you paint/plastic dip most of it?( I.e. the panels around the stereo)

 

Hey Dave, just fyi, I sent him a message yesterday, just letting u know I tried. If he gets back to me I'll let you know when I find out. He's a military guy so not sure what his current situation is at moment.

How is the ride?

 

Painted the shifter bezel and the cup holder surround. Much better! Still on the fence if I want to do the air vent surrounds.

 

Got a step 1 polish and paint sealant. It snowed the night before so the truck was freshly trashed in road salt/brine. Before and after pictures shown.

 

Those bumpers are awesome. Please tell me how you like them...build quality, fit and finish, etc. That's what's going on my truck once I can get a Prius to clip me.

 

Man these bumpers are awesome! Heavy duty, nice thick black powder coat finish. And the lights....unbelievable! I can’t really see at night so the LED fog lights make it much easier. And I rigged a toggle switch for the 30” light bar in the front.

I hate the chrome a Toyota puts on the trucks so I was going to buy the bumper over lays to match the color of my truck and it would have costed me $1200. So I bought the front and rear bumpers from Rough Country for less than $1600. So it was worth it. All I had left was the chrome grill and hood bump so I just plasti dipped them. Super easy and matched the bumpers.

 

I did the same as you and then kept going.

Tie it all together and paint the shifter surround...




(adding a 2nd gen all black shift knob doesn’t hurt either )
