Thank you to 17TundraDCEd for the super deal on his dual TRD exhaust. Got the new bolt/gasket kit from the dealership and bolted it right on my ‘16 SR5 today. Had there been less rustyness on my truck it would have only taken about an hour.
    Sounds sweet now!
Can you tell we like Toyotas?

It was a little bit out of my comfort zone to risk screwing up a brand new trucks interior, but my wife told me I would probably screw it up (which made me want to do it more) - so I took apart the center tray and painted the trim pieces as part of my mission to black out the interior. Couldn’t be happier with the way it came out, also installed the AJT piece around the shifter knobs chrome bezel.

Took the 20 Platinum up to Telluride to ski today. Not as nimble as my Pilot but way more comfortable seats. And the sound of the TRD exhaust is so good. 18mpg up and 23.3mpg on the way down. It helps going from 9600 feet down to 6000 feet with 65-70mph average. Got to spend 3 hours in the Tundra and three hours on soft groomers with the sun out. Super fun day!

Honestly, I hoping those assembled 5100's come my way. I made a offer for them shipped, but he's hoping to sell them locally first. :fingerscrossed: we'll see.

Ordered them on Amazon, they were like $30. They worked pretty good, I have under them before on my Jeep with no issues.

Had the crappy port installed tint removed up front. I added Llumar CTX15 on the front two windows, had the rears matched to 15% with CTX tint, put CTX5 on the sunroof, and AIR80 on the front windshield. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Even though I’d like it darker, I don’t want to take a chance with getting pulled over just for tint.

First oil change since I bought the truck.
    Installed Fumoto valve.
Bought Motiv X oil change kit. Highly recommend it made the job clean, and the quality of the tools are top notch.
Lastly replaced the plastic oil filter cap. Topped it off with 8.5 qts of oil. Probably the cleanest oil change I have ever done. Looking forward to it being even cleaner with Fumoto valve.

I have never stayed at Telluride, I just drive in as Im about an hour away. They have a lot of lodging on the mountain and I have seen AirBNB's that seem reasonable.
Telluride has a lot of terrain that should keep everyone happy. Just be prepared for the elevation, the base is around 9500 feet. You will feel it.

Small mods today. Took off my raised metal letters that were corroding and the paint falling off after 1 winter and replaced them with the flat plastic ones. Left off the 4x4 and removed the 5.7 badges5D7533EC-9D8B-485E-9198-5D5D7DCCE377.jpg856D76A5-746B-4BE7-9B7F-91A5BC41E39E.jpg7A25AF09-F9B1-4DB3-8027-CDFFD27AA242.jpg7FEA8A86-9E4A-4C99-9F4F-E2FE01043017.jpg9125D410-7BEA-4C46-B5DF-0F0A6F015335.jpg

I decided to change things up a bit. I'm going back to the Tundra TRD Pro shift knob and do away with the shift boot mod. My new shifter and a couple other things for this will be here Monday. While I was at it, I finally blacked out the cup holder trim and the silver around the shifter. Now I want to get the black radio surround trim. Getting the all black TRD Pro shift knob.
