Comments like this make me wish there was something more than the "like" button. Something that maybe had a limited number of uses so it couldn't be spammed and cheapened. As it stands, I clicked EXTRA HARD on that like button for this comment.

FNG question...are the yellow lights just a style choice or are they more functional over a white light?

In a dust out situation I believe they are more visible.

I think that is the goal, and I also believe (could be totally wrong) that they will glare/reflect less in snowy situations. Kinda like the tinted goggles for skiing that cut glare so you can actually see the terrain. I really don't like the look of the yellow/amber lights though.

Agree, but being on your truck and on you won’t be looking at em but be seen with em.

True, but as my Tundra is the only rig I've got, I won't be wheeling hard or anything where I actually NEED to have the extra lights, so white should be fine for me. That's if I ever add any to start with. I've already spent more than I should on mods, and I need to focus on saving for bigger priorities.

Okay, thanks for the info. I think they look pretty sick since clear lights can just blend in. I remember being in Paris years ago and all the cars had yellow lights. I was told by a local it's required to cut back on the amount of light given off. Blinding pedestrians and into homes I guess. Ever since then I thought they were just for looks. Can definitely understand how they cut back on glare. I've been driving in snow storms where the normal headlights provide better visibility than high beams.

Yeah, driving when it is snowing 101: NEVER use high beams. Blinds you and everyone around you, plus, some peopel get half hypnotized by the falling snow and can't see past it. It's like looking out a window that you can see your reflection in, but you are focusing on your reflection instead of what is beyond it.

On your rural areas it can be nice to have lights around your rig to see better, but unless you’re doing night runs yes, low priority.

But it gives you the cool Star Wars feel that you're going a lightspeed . But you are correct that high beams you can see much shorter than low beams in snow.

I have also heard from numerous sources that yellow light is better for driving in snow and see a fair amount of people use yellow for their fogs

Another option is getting clear ditch/dust lights and applying yellow film or lense covers.

I liked that option, but didn’t like the wasted space between the trays. But it will work for some.

While I agree that their long box is a more attractive storage solution, I would only do the 3 bin because I am not willing to remove my seats and replace my seat brackets to install it.

That factor 55 in grey I've had a couple years and it's holding up great. Just a guess, but paint might chip or peel with the friction of rope or cable. Either way I'm sure it will look great.

Changed the stock front turn bulbs out to these led’s . Way brighter. You can actually see the signal now.
Order theses even tho Amazon says they don’t fit. They do and no resistor needed. Plug and play. There’s a few you tube videos on them as well.
