BAM is very popular in the TacomeWorls forum.

    Doing some “window” shopping.
Will these fit my third gen? I’ve done tons of rear h on offset and bore. I think I’m good, but want that extra reassurance.

I tried the wheel and tire thread, but that’s not very active right now. I’m just looking for some concrete confirmation that I can fit 285/75/R18 Toyo AT3s without any clearance or rubbing issues. My wheels are +18 offset and 9 inches wide. I have a 1 inch front level and my truck is a SR5 4WD. I’ve gone through the first 100 pages of that thread and I can’t find anything confirming fitment. Lots of people have these specs, but usually with 1.75 inch front level. Thanks for any help.

High quality thread, but tough to plow through for sure. Call your local Discount Tire Direct.., they confirmed largest fitment for me staying all stock... Free to do and can't hurt to make the phone call.

When I search the bam site under my truck and under TRD pro I can't find the grill. You have a link?

Pic shows regular grille, but description says TRD Pro. Also, if you google the part number or search this thread you can confirm it’s for the pro grille. Just in case it worries you like it did me at first.

Thanks. When I search based on the vehicle it just says no items found, doesn't even show a picture of a different one lol. This link does not work BTW lol.

You likely can. You can anything on that website. It’s not something I’ve looked into for myself.

It's perfect, nothing else needed! LOL

Joking aside, I would start with a Tonneau cover. I love being able to leave tools and stuff in my bed and not being robbed. My old truck had an open bed with a large toolbox (chained in place) but I had to deal with createans trying to rip it off.

The Audio: The Beatsonic amp is a great first step and very easy to install yourself. I also replaced my dash corner speakers and honestly I think I'm done with audio upgrades. It sounds pretty sweet. It's not a "rock your entire neighborhood" type of system but I'm a grown up now. ;-)

Bigger tires: I'm likely going to increase the 33" factory tires with 34" AT tires eventually. I'm not looking forward to the MPG hit but I feel like 4WD is a waste when you're on factory street tires.

What is a Beatsonic and what speakers did you get? Are they drop in replacements? I have the non JBL layout. I don't care about big sound but more clarity would be nice.

    Lots of stuff!
I have a similar size of the same tire on my truck. I had 295/60R20 Toyo AT3's on the Tundra and now 295/70/R18 AT4's on the HD. In the first few hundred kms, they are nice and quiet.

Changed oil, rotated tires, and put some power stop rotors n pads on the front bc I didn’t want to wait for tsb parts to come in. Only one stop at O’Reillys for some caliper spreaders!

Nice! What did the pads and rotors set you back if you don't mind sharing? (Hope you didn't forget any caliper bungee cords.) :D

I did forget them on that side but remembered once I went over to the other side lol. I got the power stop set K8932-36 on Amazon for $270ish bc they were on sale. Looks like they still are on sale. I had good luck with the same set on my grand Cherokee before this truck so I figured I’d give em a shot. If I did it again, I’d probably do Napa rotors for like $100 (that’s what they were for ultra premium rear rotors) and power stop z36 pads for like $80. Im hoping that the drilled n slotted rotors will dissipate heat better than stock since my oem rotors warped a decent amount in only 50k miles, but this truck was a rental previously. OEM pads were somehow at 7.5mm but I figured they’d be toast after being paired with warped rotors for so long. I’ll post an update sometime next year when I’m at like 70k miles.

Falken AT4W’s on the blue one has a 2” factory lift

Toyo AT3’s on the black one with a 1.75” levelling kit.
