the tray pops out and then you drill it. Took about 10 mins to set up. Year the Mat would cover the holes. It’s 5 small holes

Swapped over my non-heated SR5 steering wheel to a heated one from I believe a platinum (blue stitching). Also swapped over the matte grey trim from my truck as the platinum is more gloss silver. Was working on adding the door panel strip LEDs but got sent one of the door lights that was in the wrong box so ended up with two driver fronts instead of all 4 corners.

gives me time to do the radio upgrade while I’m in there at least.

Added the black console cover and console tray. I also modified the tray with a small cup holder to hole my vape. Also installed cup grips.

Rci sliders installed. Might be overkill but I do hope to one day take advantage of their full capabilities

Looks awesome! 0 degree angle? How was bolting it on?

If you don’t want to post here you can DM, but I’m interested in the gap between the rear wheel and the rear of the slider, and the gap from the front wheel to the slider. I want to see how much of the rocker is vulnerable to a rock if you’re able to take photos of it

I really want a platform style roof rack, but I am not okay with having holes drilled in my roof. Even by professionals. Good to know that people are starting to make something like this now. You're a lifesaver!

They jut straight out so yes it should be 0.

How was the bolt on? Honestly, the instructions were confusing for the driver side and the friend that helped me do this said the same thing. Read them twice and be sure you have someone help you.

Quote me again or dm me if I don’t update you tomorrow but I’ll aim to get that for you tomorrow morning.

Today I learned that the console box pocket was precisely designed to accomidate two North American Regulation sized hotdogs. That's why you buy a Tundra.

Finally got around to installing the Diode Dynamics grille light bar. Installed the TourTop tonneau cover awhile back and threw on the RTT I took from my old taco.

Well despite getting sideswiped by an 18 wheeler last night I got my marker lights installed today. We were very fortunate to walk away safely and not sustain detrimental damage to the truck.IMG_3569.jpg

I've only had the cover for a few weeks, but so far I do like it. When I went to the local dump to get rid of a bunch of scrap materials, it was fine pushing it open and it didn't snag on any of the wood scarps that were sticking up. Getting around with the bars in place was fine, but hindsight is always 20/20, and having a powered one would be nice with the rails in place. If you want a nice cover but don't want to spend the money for a powered one, I think it is nice and works well. You can always opt for Aluminum slats if you want a more premium materia/feel. Take what I say with a grain of salt though as its the only cover I've ever owned.

Also if money were not an issue I would have gone with the Retrax EQ Tonneau Cover since you can open it with the OEM key fob. Its 3200 though vs the 1700 for the RetraxONE XR with composite slats.

Great, thanks for the insight. I am looking to buy one in the spring, too cold to install it now, and if OK may ping you back for an update. The EQ looks awesome, but it is pricey ;-)

Are you able to run your fridge off this full time using that hood solar panel or do you have another battery?
I debated on doing this same thing to run my Dometic 55.

Drove it, test fitted some 17X8.5, +25 offset Method 318s, tinted the front windows 30% to match the factory rears and tinted the windshield 50%.
Now it has 500 miles on the OBO.

I'm considering this rack, can you confirm it does not affect the opening of panoramic sunroof?

I run my fridge full time off just the starter battery. In the summer the solar helps top off the fridge as it runs more often in the heat whereas my heater only runs when I use it for sleeping in the winter. And in the winter the fridge cycles a lot less, but I’ve had great success with just one beefy battery and my Dometic 75

They don’t pull power non stop. They cycle on and off to maintain temp.

Yeah I get that part, but didn't know if he just kept his plugged in all the time. I have a EcoFlow Glacier but it lives in the house and goes to the truck for trips. But I don't have a bed cover so I'd be reluctant to leave on abed slide exposed 24/7

I used to run mine off a 100ah lithium battery in my van and on my Tacoma 24/7 but they were fed with like 300w of solar.
I was mostly curious if the 80w hood panel was worth it.
