What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I got my Grille back from powder coating and installed all 84 bolts. I'll install it tomorrow.

Had time today to instal interior floor LED lights from Sylvania ZEVO 16 color with remote. Had infared installed under passenger front pannel. Ran the driver line under center counsul, the the rear went from passenger side pannel door to under passenger seat and center counsul for rear driver seat. Used the 36" line for rear driver passenger LED. Velcroed the remote with infared facing the passenger side to the rear of shift column. I feel like BLUE LEDs for now as I'm mellow, maybe RED if I'm stuck in traffic..lol

 

Got some kangs installed with out of the box settings, I love them! Plush ride on the street and smooth off road and I removed the front sway bar. My best mod EVAR!

 

Installed SDHQ ABS Shields.

While I was under there I saw that my lower shock mount and shock shaft got bitch slapped by a rock or two haha. Hopefully it doesn't chew through the shock seal.

where did you find the carbon shift knob area cover?

 

Auto anything under B&I. You order by what kit/ area you want to carbon fiber over lay. Kinda expensive but quality is good as it gives you a another layer of protection. I bought the complete kit for interior and exterior

 

Nice setup. I just installed mine last weekend.

 

So I had to loosen all 84 bolts again to mount the upper frame mount. Ugh! The upper mount has an arch to it to arch the frame. This grill is a lot of work for sure. But patience is key when they don't give you any instructions. Lol

Hory Shit! I have asked before but I was told there was no demand for it but my question was if anyone knows who makes skid plates for the shock mounts cuz I was worried that might happen.

So how did you run the wire from back seat to the other back seat ? Under center console or what ?

 

You can choice between multiple cabin fiber colors

 

From the passenger back seat used the longer wire connector 36" and went under back side of rear center counsul. The two wires split from the passenger side door pannel that's why you need the longer piece to fit. Taped the LEDs to rear cross sliding plate so not to pinch any wires. I'll. Try take some pics later

 

Yes that's correct. If u stick the wire under the rear of center console u can kinda work it like dental floss further and further under, almost to where it goes straight across to both seats. Hope helps.

 

Added the bottle opener today. Clearly the best modification you can do to any truck. Adds 5hp, 6 ft/lbs of torque and attracts all the ladies. It's almost impossible to drive it now because there are just to many women in the road wanting my truck.



Tucked out of the way so nothing sliding in should hang up on it.

I found out the other day that when you add this little bundle

Your wife all of a sudden becomes more vocal. You should slow down, this road is too bumpy for her, don't go around that turn so fast, you need to remember, you have a little baby in the back now. Had to go pick up a trailer from my cousin yesterday, he had a very steep gravel driveway that was causing my traction control to kick in. "Do you really think you should be doing this with a baby in the backseat?"

 

I finally finished my grill! It was a lot of work! Had to assemble and disable it three times. I also had to fabricate my own aluminum side brackets and mounting points for the bottom of the grill. It took me 9hrs to install with no breaks. It's very heavy as well.

 

She got a bath today. Then the rain came.
