Added a coachbuilder 1” shim to both sides and RAS to the rear on the 1mm (white) chip setting.

Measurements from the ground to edge of wheel well

    BEFORE
    Driver front - 37”
    Passenger front - 37 3/8”
    Driver rear - 39 3/8”
    Passenger rear - 39 3/8”

    AFTER
    Driver front - 38”
    Passenger front - 38 1/8”
    Driver rear - 40 3/16”
    Passenger rear - 40 3/16”

Just took a quick drive down the road but I notice a pretty significant difference in the feeling of the rear… no bounce and very planted feeling. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to tell, but after installing I’m very impressed!

Total install time was about 5.5 hours, including two trips to Lowe’s lol.

I picked up the spray gun and wands that Kellsport sells when I moved to Michigan years ago, definitely worth the investment (or something similar). A gallon of Fluid Film is only $40 and I can usually get 2 trucks out of a gallon.

I saw one of those racks at Costco, but there were much better alternatives on Amazon.

Today I did the Revesol steering wheel. He's my take on it. First off, it's nice, very well made and the stitching is real nice pattern, not your regular stich pattern. Everything fits like OEM. I like all the contours it has, also. Now the bad, IMO. It's square. It will probably take sometime to gett use to hold on to a square mold instead of the round OEM style. The backside finger indets feel off also. Lucky for me, when I drive I don't hold my steering with my hand wrapped around it. Most of the time, I either have my elbow on the window sill, holding my wheel with a couple fingers or I hold it towards the bottom the same way. I wouldn't go back to the OEM and not a deal breaker but the square design just doesn't feel right.

Just the front, not sure if I can buy a rear later or not but at least it's better then nothing. Super easy to install and use also looks stock is why I like it.

I'm kind of surprised you don't think they're brighter. I installed the OEM LED's in my '15 years ago, but just recently swapped to the SS3 pro's. The only difference is I went with the standard, not the ambers. I remember hearing somewhere that the ambers use a lower output LED than the standard white, though I haven't ever confirmed it. I was so impressed with the SS3's in the fog light location that I splurged a few weeks later and replaced my aging BD Squadrons to SS3 Max's on my ditch lights.

I agree w/25000yota here... I installed a pair of SS3 Pro fogs on the wife's Subi and they are significantly better (brighter, cleaner light output, and better side throw) than even the OE Rigid LEDs in my '21 Pro :notsure:

I am going to do this!
    What retrofitting was required?
Did you need longer bolts for the rail attachment?
Did you need washers or spacers between the packout plate and rail mounts?

They say 10% but I feel they are significantly brighter than the yellows. I do also really enjoy the wider beam than the stock LED fogs. I don’t have any photos of the output with just the headlights, but I’ll see if I can get one after work.

No, 10% decrease of output is due to other brands utilizing a lens for an amber color. For example, I used to use caliraisedled pod lights with rigid amber lenses - that resulted in a decrease in output.

There shouldn’t be any decrease in output if the pods were made specifically for its color. So if DD advertise their output for their Amber pods, it should be as such.

Reworked my radio mounting - modified the Dasaita trim brackets and added modified factory brackets to significantly stiffen up the mount while making more room for all the wiring to stuff up inside.
Also routed cables behind the HU for my Icom radio controller and external speaker.

    We run ambers as well...

I'm guessing, but it looks like your fogs are illuminating about 150-200' in front of you which is pretty good. Remember, the PROs are SAE compliant and have a very distinct 'cutoff' point so as to not blind oncoming traffic. You may get some better performance by angling up just a bit more, but w/that side throw the way it is you'd risk blinding oncoming folks especially on 2-lane highways, etc...

Did you order through their site? I tried emailing them and message them through fb and got zero respond. Was considering them but i think i will pass. Plus, i dont like their 3D ring up and center. They had a non 3d version that i inquired about but since they won’t respond. I will look for something else. The cartrimhome wheels is pretty similar, they dont have the finger inlets on the backside. They have 1 thumb groove at the 9 and 3 o’clock position, whereas revesol have 2. No 3d ring either on the cartrimhome wheel. Oh and they actually respond to inquiries..

Being someone who has reached out to them a lot. I will say they are hit or miss when responding, and they definitely don't speak English. Before they had their website, I would contact them via ebay.

And to be fair, Revesol was one of the first to release an all black leather wheel at an affordable price since the tundras.com forum showed there was an actual interest and desire for it. So they do listen at times but I'm right there with you, support the company that responds to you.

I’m always willing to give company a chance, but after a week or two of zero respond. I see no good reason to support them. Honestly i DID msg them through ebay also. On their store page. So that’s 3 places i send inquiries to. Yet, none even gave it a glance. I understand it’s the Holiday and everyone is running crazy. But after 2wks of waiting for a simple, sorry we dont offer that anymore or such. I give.

Yeah, I ordered through their site for Black Friday. It came out to around $220 shipped. I got the all black wheel with the black 3D center piece. Didn't care for a color option. I also didn't have to email them since I had no questions, so I wouldn't know about their response time. Over all its a nice steering wheel and other than what I mentioned, I really don't regret my choice. I didn't know there was another option. If I would have known I would have looked but I over its still better, to me, over the OEM.
