Not today, but Saturday we went out to cut our Christmas tree. We have a spot that we've been a few times now and always find exactly what we are looking for. Did a little wheeling in the snow after we found the tree and buried the Tundra. I came around a corner and was on a slight incline but that section had been in the sun all day so the snow was very soft and I kept sinking. I was only 1 mile from pavement and we tried to punch through but I was getting stuck every 20-30 feet. With the sun getting really low in the sky and not having any other trucks with me I made the decision to head back the way we came. Had to back up for almost a mile before I was able to find a spot wide enough to turn around. All in all a great day in the mountains.

I totally think the double cabs look better. But the crewmax has far more utility for me.

I used to think that’s what a truck was all about—utility.

Boy, how wrong I was. I now know truck ownership is really all about getting the perfect stance, complaining about how it rides unloaded, and carrying home those Costco groceries at 12mpg.

From where I took that picture to the very bottom of the valley is almost 2500'. Very vast and desolate.

It’s a mess right now. Hoping to build a proper shop this next year, as I’m currently operating out of an unfinished daylight basement.
That picture was me loading the jointer to sell it - didn’t use it like I thought I would.

Finally Carplay came to my truck. It connected front cam too. $40+ investment is well worth it.

Not at all. Only on 1 or 2 speed. Mostly 1 after the truck has fully warm the inside and i want to maintain the temperature. I dont like the blowing straight out mode. So i put it on the defrost and feet most of the time.
Here is where i think caused the crack. This tiny little rock chip that i didn’t even know was there.

It’s a consideration for sure. Since it’s double for oem. Im going to wait til Spring to change it. If it cracks more, it will crack more.

I think we (insurance) paid $800ish and the glass we need has the antenna in it.

    Alot of them
Just DO NOT use Safelite. They use cheap glass and their workmanship is crap too. When you do get ready to replace it, call a reputable local glass company and tell them that you want OEM equivalent. Mine was replaced last year with PGW. PGW and Vitra are merged now, and they are one of the manufacturers for OEM and OEM equivalent glass for Toyota.
