I have the Fumoto valve and it’s amazing. I just ordered this to help with draining the filter. https://a.co/d/aQtz7z4

My issue wasn't installing the plastic cap, but I did 2 oil changes using them and it took me way to much time both changes getting that damn plastic cap removed so I could put my filter wrench on the filter. Like, comically funny. Those threaded drain hoses are soo nice. I just hand tighten and it doesn't leak and comes off with no effort.

Just make sure you have it closed when you thread it in :anonymous:

Mine was open from cleaning it and I didn't even check when I threaded it into the filter housing. Slight mess was made hahaha

Ya I too had an issue removing the plastic drain cap thing. Had to use pliers and ended up snapping it into several pieces haha. Thanks for the tip.

That drain makes it nice and basically just hand tighten ...no leaks

yeah i get you.. its small enough that you can put it anywhere. but i choose there because i was going to put a radar detector there but wasnt sure which..
if you get it, let me know where you put it.. i will say this, that with the dash plate i have. It keeps the counter sunk look so things arent as high or tall as you may think.
i have seen some other dash plates and they are level with the dash so anything you add is even taller / higher but with this plate its not the case.

I run RAS with the TRD rear sway. No issues, still have articulation and on road she handles like she is on rails. Run it for a bit and see how you like it.

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Since most of the leaves have fallen here on LI, NY I just thought I’d check out that d/s fender rubber flap that seems to hold leaves, dirt, and other rot inducing material. Damn, there was tons of crap in there! First time I’ve ever done this, and I doubt the original owner had either. Anyway, here’s a few pics. As mentioned in a thread about this issue, the p/s had nothing. I flushed that out with the hose as well since I was there.

Hi everyone. My wife’s uncle recently passed away so I have been trusted and blessed to take care of his 2017 Tundra 4x4 1794 Edition. I already love this truck for many reasons, tangible and intangible. However, it needs some TLC.

Included are a few pictures and a minor to-do list. Please feel free to offer any ideas/suggestions. Thanks.

    • Repair damage on left side.
    • Sell/Trade MX camper shell, replace with V series.
    • Wireless charging center console.
    • 1.75” Level Kit
    • 285/55/20 tires (thinking Nitto Ridge Grapplers).
    • 20x9 Ultra Hunter wheels.

I removed the shields just for that fact. I noticed no more or less road noise without that retarded shield.

It makes cleaning that area a breeze.

Ignore the tpms light. Temp swings around here have it acting up.

I'm planning on doing my own install of (pre-assembled, 3rd notch) 6112/5160's this weekend. Any tips?
I'm running a TRD front swaybar, do I have to dump that or will it still work?
