Looks great, how much bigger could you have gone? or are there now?

Those Badland 3 tons are nice. I have 2 of them. One in the garage and one in the truck.

Check the build link in my signature.
I’d personally prefer to not have my fogs aimed to the side that much, but I know that was his intent with the design. They are probably the most solid and best looking mounts for the factory bumper to date.

I put the Wheelers bump stops on today. Got a before and after picture. And a comparison picture of OE & Wheelers bump stops. I didn’t drive it yet after the install. Tomorrow I will to see/ feel the difference . IMG_6989.jpg

Does yours have a loud hissing sound when using it with an air compressor? My bosses son has that one and it's loud.

    I have this one...

it's pretty quiet when using it with an air compressor

Finally completed my IMS lift with the Dobinsons medium leaf pack (L59-121-R). The ride is much better than the 1" block I had previously. The smartcap is 168 lbs and the decked system is apparently 200 empty. I have all of my tools in there so I should be 400-500 lbs constant load. I was nervous about it riding too rough and being too high in the back but i am super happy with how everything turned out. I purchased the bushing kit, greasable pins, and new U-bolts from Dobinsons as well. Had to get new longer carriage bolts for my airbag cradle to fit around these fat leaf packs. RCI Arapaho bumper with the short hoop to go on next. Should be shipping soon!!!

With the one I got, I found using the air compressor worked better then using the manual hand pump but still didn't seem to extract as good as I've been seeing in review videos. It seems like an excessive amount of air escapes from air vents on the handle. I sent the manufacturer an email but have not rcv'd a response so I'm going to return it and either get a replacement or maybe give the one you linked a try. Looks like you get all the same stuff for the same price.

Changed the oil for the second time since I bought the truck used a little over a year ago. Used Penzoil Ultimate 0-20 and OEM filter. The filter looked pretty good (~4k OCI). Looked it up and I’ve put about 8K miles on it over the past 15 months (I work from home). I swapped out the PCV valve as well.

Also did a drain and fill on the transmission. The truck has 96K and while it has a great dealer documented service history from the previous owner, it’s not clear the last time it was done. Looking at the used fluid, it’s been a while. Though It was still ‘red’ and didn’t smell burnt, it was time. I used Valveoline Maxlife. Next is the coolant, diff fluid and spark plugs.

I noticed that with his as well that the manual pump is basically useless and using compressed air isn't very fast IMO. To be honest, I haven't tried using the manual pump on mine but with compressed air it worked great. All the same attachments. It is a little more expensive but not by much. So far I've been happy with it.

@brevard828 I have a similar setup to what you used to have. I have the standard leafs and a (supposed 2") block in the back. I'm kind of thinking about replacing those leafs and the 2" block with just a set of new leafs like what you got. Can you point me to those links you bought and it sounds like I may need a higher lift in back since you had a 1" block.

Here all that i ordered just for the rear. Ive also got the full IMS for the rest of it. The leafs i got are the meduim ones 2.1" lift. however they have a heavy dutu 900lb spring and the standard 0-300 lb spring. All are 2.1" lift. Their customer service is amazing and it ships out of florida very quickly. @crikeymike is a retailer as well and is super knowledgeable and on the forums a bunch. his site actually had them cheaper

A lot of people are running 295/70/18 with a similar lift though I can't say whether they do so without trimming, extra shims, higher setting on the 6112 etc.

...but I considered going up to 285/75/18 which would have been slightly taller and I think that would have been fine with my same set up.

Whether your set up would run with different tire sizes would also depend on your wheel offset.

I did a drain and fill of the coolant. First coolant change at 87k miles. Noticed a few weeks ago my overflow tank was pretty low so instead of filling it up, decided to just change the fluid. In the process, noticed my driver side shock is leaking. I was planning on doing 5100’s when my shocks went bad but I wasn’t expecting this early.

Suspension installed. Dirt king arms, king 2.5s all around, method 315 17*8.5, BFG KO2, 35*12.5*17. had the shop that installed do the BMC but not happy with looks of it and outcome as tires rub at full lock. Going to take it to another shop and see what they say.

You know that we have come a long way in automotive reliability when it is a surprise that the shocks on a 6,000 pound truck run nearly 90,000 miles an we comment on "how early" they are failing!
In my lifetime it was frowned upon to buy a car with 90,000 miles on it because it was nearly used up!

I finally drove the truck today to try the super bump stops out. I took it where I hunt at. I drove up a forest road, maybe a good 1/2 mile, faster than I normally do to see how they perform on the dips and bumps. It did ride smoother/ softer over the terrain. I think it was a good mod. Pic is part of the forest road. Update; I had to check to see if it’s a 1/2 mile. On the way out I put the trip on. It’s.8 of a mile from parking area on the gamelands to the highway. And I drove slow on the way out. I could still feel a difference for the better.
