I have always wanted my switches at the finger tips of the steering wheel so I could not resist when I seen you were mounting switches.

The $2.99 is low for where I live in IL. 3 miles up the road it was $0.40 more per. Go up to the next county and it's another $0.20 per. I saw it at $2.99 and said yep, then the wife said she has points as long as I had to fill more than 20 gallons. I just laughed and said it wasn't a problem. LOL.

By that time you might have to replace some clamps too and what ever else that thing leaks on

Cleaning the terminals and such every few months, to not throw away a couple hundred bucks. Seems like a fair trade to me. I dont think it will have long left at 3 years old at end of summer. I have 0 use for the battery once I remove it from the truck other than the core.

Looking under the hood every couple weeks should be normal.

The day came to get Line X. I pulled my bed rails and replaced the big bed bolts with smaller head hex bolts (Line X won't remove bed bolts anymore apparently) and got it done today. I'm really glad I took the time to pop those dents out of the wheel wells- I'm really happy with how the bed turned out. IMG_0664.jpg

Nah, it's easy using transfer tape.

I'm more impressed that he got the program to behave. They had an update about a year ago and it really made it a pain using the software.

    Brand new cabin air filter!
Just came up on the nearly impossible mod to purchase for Californians. Found a BNIB Stillen CAI for my Tundra! :yay: Super excited for this one. Was on my wishlist and not expecting to spend any money right now as funds are tight but damnit, it was too good to pass up. Huge thanks to Jon! (If you see this)

Unfortunately, they don't. They won't sell it n ship it to your California address but there are ways around to getting your hands on one :spy:

@BriannaSTILLEN says they have been working tirelessly to getting their CAI California approved :(

I’m on vacation in Kauai, paid $5.29 per gallon for 87. Rented a Rubicon hybrid, fun to drive… still rather have my Tundy, glad I ain’t paying 5.29 per gallon back home!

Sweet! Its one of our most favorite places to vacation. My wife and I have been maybe 9-10 times. If you like Filipino (and local) food, visit Kauai Family Cafe. Its at 4-361 Kuhio Hwy in Kapaa (next to Brick Oven Pizza). We made friends with one of the owners and spent a fair bit of time with her and her boyfriend; she's a really nice lady. There's also a great place to get Halo-Halo down in Hanapepe (can't remember the name but the place looks like a hole-in-the-wall on the right-hand side of the road as you head to Hanapepe). We were supposed to go back out in 2020, but covid had other plans. The wife and I are supposed to go back out again this September. So jealous right now. Enjoy your trip, man. Have fun!

So I got these cheesy gas cap covers off someone in my FJ group. I thought I would gain 3 hp after the install but instead I gained 3 dudes at the gas station asking me about it and then checking out my truck.

Sadly, it seems that place is permanently closed.

When you go, I highly recommend stopping by The Musubi Truck. I ate there twice in 1 day. I got the OG and Da Bomb. So good!

They have 2 locations, if you go to the one at Kapa’a, say high to the friendly dog, clover.

It’s also crazy how many 4Runners, Tacos and Tundras are here in Kauai. Just about every single one is lifted with big tires, too.

That price would be a bargain here in Alberta.

"KFC" permanently closed? Oh man, I am seriously bumming. That just sucks.

While it can't take the place of KFC, that Musubi Truck looks awesome. Looking at their online menu, I like your choices . . . I'd be eyeing the the OG and Da Bomb as well. Becasue of my love for SPAM, my family is convinced I'm adopted. And a friendly dog to boot; I'm sold! While my wife loved their Filipino food, what I liked a lot about KFC was their killer Loco Moco. It was awesome. There also used to be a diner in Lihue, just off rt50 or rt56, that had pretty good SPAM dishes and Loco Mocos (and a waitress who sounded like she smoked a carton of cigarettes a day for 50 years). I just checked Google maps and I don't see it there anymore either. Man, this is getting depressing.

Yeah, Tacos have always been prolific on Kauai. Bunch of 4Runners too. The few Tundras I've seen were being used by hardcore local hunters who were hunting boar on the way up, and just off of, rt550 (Waimea canyon area). Have you gone to the Pu'u O Kila lookout yet? Done the Kalalau Trail yet (short version, long version)?
