Y'know, sometimes I finish a long run and my legs are a bit sore. I overthink/over diagnose that too

I put my RCI gas tank skid plate on. Something always makes a project harder. At least for me it does. The bolt near the frame holding the rear strap was hard to get out to the point where the nut weld broke. So, I had to cut the bolt with a dremmel. And put a new nut and bolt in. I had a fire extinguisher ready and put a lot of wet rags around where I was cutting because of spark. It made me nervous. IMG_5840.jpg IMG_5835.jpg

We have a media PC, hooked up to our home theater system, in our living room. As I'm sitting here scrolling through this thread (back from 2022), our flat-screen is the display, the wife, who's siting next to me knitting, suddenly says, "I think you should get cat shields for the Tundra."

She's not yet any idea that Fedex is delivering an order from RCI, today. :bananadance::headbang:

Great day in NY so I gave it a long overdue washing. I also moved my Scan Gauge III from the windshield mount to a dash mount.

Last week I installed TPO Bumpershellz.
I ordered a black exhaust tip yesterday.

    Much better than the chrome..

Today I installed $15 bed lights.
Amazon.com: Ampper White LED Rock Light for Bed Track, 60 LEDs Cargo Pickup Truck Bed Lighting Kit W/Switch Fuse for Truck Bed, Foot Wells, Under Car, Rail Light and More (20 Pcs) : Automotive

I previously installed the OEM bed lights a few years ago and they suck.
    I figured for $15 I'd give these a try.
I did paint the white wiring black (not sure why it was white in the first place), and added additional 3M molding tape, stuff I already had in the garage.
Stuck them to the bottom of the bed rail system..

    Much better than the OEM.
I had to offset the OEM because of my swingcase.

I finally had time to install the TRD swaybar I found on marketplace.

Oh yeah and I painted it color-matched Cavalry blue.

I got it off of Amazon 11 months ago. That one is no longer listed. Try a search on Amazon for "Tundra Shift Knob." This one, as well as several others, came up for me https://www.amazon.com/TQPONLY-Automatic-Compatible-Accessories-PTR57-34142/dp/B0C24KL2Y3?th=1

Oh, and I found another pic. Black one this time, and also after I installed the AJT console pieces.

Besides putting the gas tank skid on today, I also figured out why my rock lights stopped working. Ground wire was loose. Got them at tractor supply store. My wife wants me to get more lights for the wheel wells. These have red, blue ,green and white . IMG_5847.jpg IMG_5848.jpg

I appreciate that a lot! Red is not my style, so I figured I would try out rattle-canning it. I sanded the bar and links a bit to rough it up and taped over the important bits (label, bushings, etc.) then hit it and it came out great! I did not put a clear coat on it because...well, it's a sway bar. It's going to get dirty anyway.

You should put a few twinkly bluish stars on the headliner (even better if they glow in the dark a little)....
