The question is not what did I do today, but, what DIDN'T I do today. After nearly a month of working every day....

BullRingUSA (.com) flush mount bedrail tie downs.

Charvonia Designs (www.billettiedowns.com) bed tie downs.

*Note to self: buy dudes battery tie for visuals.

Remove damaged bumper/fender tie and *bumper bar.
Tweak bumper bar (*term) to straighten. Seal new bumper tie. Base coat in Krylon Hot Pink for inside joke. Debate with Self that it actually looks pretty damned good against the Silver Sky Metallic...top coat with SEM Silver because, NO.

Remove fender flairs, wash in shower, de gloss with red Scotch pad. Prime, bedline. Stress over the 'cut marks' they've left in my panels.

Remove hood bulge. De gloss, with Scotch pad. Wash, prime and bedline.

Enjoy the Amazon honey comb grille. De gloss the surround. Note for those who've read the other thread...it does not have the cover on top of the surround...perhaps this is where the winch solenoids get relocated? Order custom insert for the oval. Wash, prime and bedline.

Prep new fender extension panel. Remove and degloss fender extension from the other side. Wash, seal and coat with bed liner.

    Wash and degrease it all.

*Clean the tub* Clean the toilet while your at it...

Prime and seal. Coat the goods with bed liner.

Test fit the TRD Pro headlights. They're going to look SICK! DM'd @iHacker to order the new harness.

Swapped OEM tails for Alpha Rex Luxx. They look bad ass. I hope they hold up...

Full led interior swap. I need to clean the truck. This operating room light shows every bit of dirt. Still debating on MesoCustom panels for the map lights...

Epoxied the broken mounting tabs on the left OEM halogen light. Temp reinstall to come pending the new LED harness. Be Damned Christmas Deer!

I need to buy another rattle can of bed liner to finish the fender flares before remounting 40 -ish stubby stainless decorative "bolts".

Lastly, I've almost enjoyed just enough Amber Bock

I gotta go put some $h!+ back together.... I'm tired.

And it's going to snow tonight, which means I get to work again

Installed a Pedal Commander...lol........feels like an underpowered car in cheesy sports mode. Like driving a manual a gear down.....just makes the car more jumpy but u know there are no real power there to make it really go faster as u apply more gas. Anyway Amazon 30 days let see

I changed the oil for the first time myself today. I did an oil only change 5k ago but today was filter too. Installed the fumoto valve last time. Between the fumoto and the motiv X kit, that made the oil change a breeze. I used to think the cartridge filter style was horrible but other than dropping the skid plate, it’s not bad at all.

3 inch level / lift kit , tough country ucas 34 x11.50 x 18 ridge grapplers 1.5 inch wheel spacers.
Looks awesome, that's pretty great knowing you can get 3.5 inches of lift from a king setup.

Just installed Fel-Pro exhaust front flange gaskets today. Installed my DD exhaust weeks ago and it comes with the 1 rear gasket but it just didn't sit right with me not installing new front gaskets which are optional.

Here's the Fel-Pro part number in case anybody wants to do the same20240128_082116.jpg

Helped @1slow97 install the SDHQ hidden winch mount I sold to him. Great guy, though I probably didn’t do right by him…I am sick with the mod virus, might have infected him.

This evening, couple of small mods; not a big fan of the Ironman 4x4 decals on their bumpers, so I pulled them off, and slapped these on. Ironman 4x4 stamps the metal in the shape of the decal, so you can still see the stamp outline, but it doesn’t tickle my OCD too bad. :)

Is your grille all good other than the emblem missing? That damn thing is expensive.

The grille is good; it seems to be a quality product. I opted to go with this from Amazon.
Collect Light Front Bumper Grille https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C741LX96

There is a formed area that looks like a door/access area on top that my old grille does not have. This cover is not included... I'm thinking it may be a good place to relocate winch solenoid this spring.

As it went on a '15, I don't have the sensor(?) that I believe would be behind the glass ornament. I opted to get creative and designed a custom insert from here:
    https://www.yofab.com/collections/custom-emblems

Although eBay has several used OEM inserts from $35. Way less than the $350(?) new.

Edit: The original was shattered inside and out

I probably should have been more clear....

Very much not, but out where I am moving there are little to no street lights and lots of back roads. Which is why I got them. I leave them off, mostly. I was shocked at how bright these are.

They are mostly for watching for deer and when in the dark areas. but if i forget or come up on someone, i dont want them being dangerous for them. I just need to pony up and get the new headlights.
