Search for the zero angle calibration or reset for the 4R. Not a huge deal.

Has to be done with Techstream on the 2020 and newer. I have the lite version but cannot get to the necessary screen. A gut in the 4R forum just did his 2021 but I couldn't get to the screen that he was on and I ran out of time before the dealer appointment and couldn't wait any longer for him to reply.

Wednesday afternoon I placed an order for the Ironman 4x4 Raid bumper. Thursday afternoon I got a shipping confirmation saying it would be delivered Friday. Super quick. Only issue was I had it sent to where I work thinking it would be delivered early the following week. Not a day and a half later. We aren't open on Fridays (4 day work week) so I had to show up and wait for the driver. But, it gave me something to do for the rainy weekend. I don't have a winch yet and did not get to doing the wiring for the lights, so that will have to be done as part of phase 2. Bumper install was very easy, fit and finish is really, really good.

Looks like both have two wires but the connectors are mirror images. Wonder if one can get the 20/21 connector and repin it with the wires from our 17-19 trucks? Has anyone tried this?

OEM TRD LED headlights and ihacker harness this morning. Can’t wait to see the nighttime output. Makes me want paint matched or black bumper ends now.

You will be impressed by how much more output you have at night!

I did plasti-dip and bedliner on my end caps and love the look.

This weekend I did two small but major quality of ownership enhancements to my 2020 Platinum

    - OEM Tailgate auto lock
    - Carlinkit 5.0 for wireless CarPlay

Wish I would have done these sooner. Small things but such drastic improvements!!!

I have the CPLAY2Air for my carplay on gen 2.5 and the install was easy plus is rock solid, works perfect

If you're in Houston I can help you install it no worries. is very straight forward

took 10 minutes, easy as can be. Could take longer if you want to hide the unit under the center console. I just routed the wire and attached it to drivers side kick panel. Works fast and seamlessly. Best $70 I’ve spent in a while.

@RobertD Ok so here's the deal from the dealership. They scanned it and it gave Code C00632A for yaw sensor stuck in loop and to replace center air bag sensor. They said the sensor is $1200, would have to be ordered, and not covered under my extended warranty. They said that they could clear the lights but it may come back. I drove it back home (about 8 miles or so) and it has not come back on.

Ordered some OEM led fog lights to replace my halogen fog lights and a 30” Rough country spectrum light bar for the bumper. Had some heavy fog on some back roads over the weekend and I could not see very well at all.

I do plan on swapping to OEM LED headlights at some point but I’m waiting for a sale.

Had an intermittent misfire on the big bastard so after trying to rebuild the engine and save some doll hairs, ended up just buying a remanned engine and putting that in. She’s running good now though, gas mileage even went up to 12.5 :DIMG_2598.jpg IMG_0247.jpg

Where I got mine from they averaged around $7-12k.

Truck had 147,300 on the odometer. I think I know what your next question will be, the engine shit the bed because the truck got a small coolant leak on the road one day, my own neglect led to me not realizing and starting my drive home that day with no coolant, long story short the truck overheated and it permanently messed with the tolerances in the engine.

Check the build link in my signature.
the 17-19 truck has two round 12V power sockets down there, and then regular "Toyota small" switches/blanks in between. The 2020/21 trucks have the USB media port (which is the newer smaller "square" blank) and then the dual USB charger port (which is 1x tall and 2x wide of the "square" blanks).

You would need to swap out that lower center console piece with one from a 2020/21 truck, and then you would have to get a blank to fill the small square port. Stuff inside the red shows the difference between "pre MY 2020" (denoted by *3) vs "MY 2020/2021" (denoted by *4). The 2020/21 have an added dedicated fuse for the USB charger even. This is separate from your media port (just to be sure).
    upload_2024-1-8_21-56-55.png

I'm not saying you couldn't still do it, but it would be a little more involved.

Love the chopper picture on the wall! Did you take it or was it purchased? I have a friend who flew helicopters for the Navy and the Air Force who would love to have a copy if possible.
