    Not sure at this point.
If you’re in CT or near by areas and want to get your exhaust done, Ravy Discount Mufflers in Waterbury is the place to go.

Added the Carven R muffler to the truck and Beluga definitely sounds like a different white whale…

Just shy of 50k. Had a week of vacation planned so I shipped them off prior to use that as time I didn’t have to drive it. Daily driver with hunting and fishing trips off road. Fox had them less than 2 weeks. They didn’t provide a shipping notification so I got lucky with my dog sitter seeing them on the front porch and bringing them in.

Thanks Ronius, I also thought it was a strange response from the company since I watched their promotional/install video and they expressly mention that it is a direct fitment for any 2 inch receiver/7pin harness. I only emailed them to confirm the steps necessary to return a product (if by chance there were any issues) and after I mentioned what product I was looking for and for what application, they then said there 'may' be custom wiring required to avoid warnings, then I held off ordering?

After your feedback, I may just go ahead and order the light considering it's on sale right now anyway.

Changed the oil, cabin air filter, and engine air filter for the first time on the 4runner and Tundra. The 4runner was super easy - the vertical oil drain was cake. Because of that, I figured the tundras would be easier, but that angled drain hole is a doozy. Poured probably a quart onto the ground/wheel/inside of skid plate... What a mess. After doing the 4runner I was on the fence about installing the fumoto valve I got for the tundra, but definitely put it on after that mess.

    PXL_20231120_221308200.jpg

I wish the threads were just a bit different because the valve arm is pointing forward (I'd rather have it point aft), but no matter how many times I started it, it would end up in the same place. Oh well.

I bought the lever lock clip also, but I cannot get it over the head for the life of me. Is there an easier tool for squeezing these?

I need to do this. I have the fluid in the garage along with the o-ring and crush washer. Did you just drain and fill what came out or did you perform the temp check?

Save those empty paper envelopes that you get from ordering stuff on Amazon and then use it to create a shield from the skid. That’ll make sure your oil only goes into the oil pan.

Or use plain old newspaper. Learned my lesson to not use any of that and had a ton of oil inside my RCI skids.

When I did mine, engine was cold so ATF was cold too. Drain and fill same amount. Bought a plastic food container on Amazon that was 16qt. Clear and precise!

Wednesday I installed a motofab 3” front 2” rear leveling kit. Friday on the way out of town, I mounted up some 285/60r20 Toyo Open Country RT Trails. Immediately took her up to McCurtain county Oklahoma and found some FUN trails to hit! Wife and I enjoyed a long weekend and spent most of our time driving around the sides of the mountains up there.
VERY pleased with the Tundra’s ability to tackle all the terrain with ease and comfort. Had so much fun and can’t wait to go back. Now looking into skid plates, and cat covers.
    Open for suggestions…. Lol.

This has been covered a number of times here, but this only works if you already had the proper amount of fluid in your trans. Chances are you did or close to it, but if it was low for any reason, it will still be low using this method of measure and replace. The temp check method insures you get the proper amount in the transmission.

Hello yall, new to the site. Long time member on Tacomaworld tho. Finally pulled the trigger on a Tundra to use as a daily.(Will try to keep that in mind as my Tacoma is my wheeler now) I purchased a 2017 Double cab SR5 TRD off-road in magnetic grey. Already have a few thing I plan to do to it right away.
    • Ordered the trd rear sway
    • Will be ordering a bilstein 6112/5160 suspension set up with a 1” rear block. 2.5/1
    • Likely order a set of 295/70r18 wild peak at3w with some spidertrac spacers
    • Start looking for a center console to replace the middle jump seat.
Let me know what you think of that to start and if I’m missing anything that I should look into right away.

    Here it is:

Indeed. Absolutely beautiful. We got spoiled with perfect weather, too. I’ve gotta get back up there soon and find some more trails!
