Not to thread jack, but quick question for you. Where would I get a 2 pin connector to attach wires to the rear sliding window motor for the double cab? I gave up on the parking light issue for now until I am done with this window project.

You can purchase connectors from Toyota dealer. Then crimp on the correct pins and insert into connector

Use the 2.0 section of the 18-21 EWD to find the connector name. Then look that connector name up in section 6.0 to get the part number (usually starts with 90980-).
That looks like it might be a sealed-style connector, so I would then take that part number over to https://www.corsa-technic.com/index.php and look it up there to see if they have it for purchase. It will be cheaper than toyota if they do, and will come with the terminals rather than having to buy the pigtails from toyota

Not sure if anyone remembers at this point, but finally getting my windshield replaced today/tomorrow. Ultimately it's going to be covered fully under warranty, and it should be installed & ready for pickup tomorrow.

The SA said that they have a video of the windshield leaking - apparently it just goes entirely around where the seal should be at the bottom on the driver's side. I'm going to try to follow up and get a copy that I can post here in case anyone else runs into this issue again.

Just going to be happy to not have to be covering my Tundra every time it rains...

I actually have some black lugs I’ve been debating going to. I like having the little touches of chrome to pay homage to her beginnings. Haha!

Jumped on the Westcott train this weekend! I've heard great things about their products and their customer service reps answer the phone every time. It's been a while since I've had time to play with the old Tundra. I've had 5100's on the middle setting for about a year and have loved them. I will be using the full 3-1 lift option for the Westcott. They say no BMC and no UCA (I will see what the alignment guys say and will possibly order a UCA depending)

Also installed Daystar cradles for the airbags that I've had for quite some time as well. Toyo Open Country AT3 295/70r18's are going on Friday when she goes in for an alignment. Bilstein 5160 rears to come soon as well mostly because I cant find 5100 rears anywhere.

Read the BST rules before you try to sell. You will also need to adjust your above post. If you don't one of the mods will or they will just delete it since you are currently violating BST

The windshield has been removed & resealed (it didn't shatter when removed). I just spoke with the SA and they said that where the leak was occurring, the windshield seal's bead was 'rolled'. I have a feeling they think it's due to my dashcam, but since they can't prove it, it's being called a manufacturing defect.

They're recalibrating the sensors now and I should be good to pick up the vehicle then. I'll try to get some pictures when I go pick it up!

What does your dash cam have to do with a window seal?

A very good question. I don't think they're going to push it, but they definitely have mentioned the dashcam multiple times (which makes me think they think it might be the cause). Idk how I could roll the seal applying a bracket with 3M VHB tape, but it sounds like we won't even have to have that discussion :fingerscrossed:

Sounds like they were looking for a reason to get out of the repair. A flat bracket wirh VHB is not going to roll a seal. I just had my windshield changed on my 2020 and I thought it was all an applied sealant. I'll have to ask when they change out my back window.

I called and spoke to them about their setup. Westcott reps said that they have more issues out of diff drops than benefits so the CV angles should not be too extreme. Also, the top notch on billstein 5100's is 2.25" I think and their kit gets the full 3-1 lift. with the pre load collar kit, they say they maintain factory geometry better than other options. I am not planning on heavy off roading anytime soon and am looking more for stance/light trail driving/ground clearance to get to camp spots.
