The windshield has been removed & resealed (it didn't shatter when removed). I just spoke with the SA and they said that where the leak was occurring, the windshield seal's bead was 'rolled'. I have a feeling they think it's due to my dashcam, but since they can't prove it, it's being called a manufacturing defect.

They're recalibrating the sensors now and I should be good to pick up the vehicle then. I'll try to get some pictures when I go pick it up!

What does your dash cam have to do with a window seal?

How do your CV angles look now? Why not up the 5100s a notch?

A very good question. I don't think they're going to push it, but they definitely have mentioned the dashcam multiple times (which makes me think they think it might be the cause). Idk how I could roll the seal applying a bracket with 3M VHB tape, but it sounds like we won't even have to have that discussion :fingerscrossed:

Sounds like they were looking for a reason to get out of the repair. A flat bracket wirh VHB is not going to roll a seal. I just had my windshield changed on my 2020 and I thought it was all an applied sealant. I'll have to ask when they change out my back window.

I called and spoke to them about their setup. Westcott reps said that they have more issues out of diff drops than benefits so the CV angles should not be too extreme. Also, the top notch on billstein 5100's is 2.25" I think and their kit gets the full 3-1 lift. with the pre load collar kit, they say they maintain factory geometry better than other options. I am not planning on heavy off roading anytime soon and am looking more for stance/light trail driving/ground clearance to get to camp spots.

That looks like queen creek az or I guess any other new neighborhood with those style new homes. Also, as a guy who has a die hard preference for 17’s. Those are the best looking 18’s you can run IMO. They don’t look “big” like most 18’s. Clean truck man

That's awesome... I flew w/a guy for a few years that used nothing but ICON on his Tacos, and I've got to say his truck's ride/performance was always spot on (for a Taco).

You got it, it’s in queen creek! I was actually about to run 17s but decided to go with 18s for a taller set up. Appreciate it!

I'll try to grab a picture the next time I get out to the garage, but I used this mount from Yota Leds and mounted it near the top of the grill, centered above the emblem.

You can see it just above the emblem. In the last picture, for reference the rear tire of the lawn mower is 3' from my front bumper.

Agreed - this looks really good. I've contemplated this on the cement SR5 I've got (obviously, in cement color :) )
