Auto headlight mod, seat covers, drop down rear seats mod, 2018+ LED Headlights, USA flag Tundra tailgate decal (many compliments on red Tundra), Alpine ILX-F509, front Focals, JL 10TW1-4s, Waxoyl undercoat, StartX remote start.
Installed the Pedal Monster today. Thanks @ToyFan for the help and quick response. I previously installed the StartX remote start which uses the OBD II plug so I had to order the OBD splitter as well from Banks. Fortunately for me, the units did not compete and I have reverse safety and do not have to select No OBD. It's definitely way quicker response on that pedal. Was a little wet here today but I'm anticipating a fun future with this mod.

Finally got around to asking my (uncle) mechanic to install a ton of things I haven't had time to get to. Dropped the car off looking like pic attached. Update in a couple weeks when I get back from vacation!

It's gonna be nice coming back to a truck that sits a little taller and wider and has an overall better trim aesthetic.

    Parts list:
    1. Rear bench seat neoprene seat cover
    2. 3/2 leveling lift kit
    3. Diff drop kit (required for level kit)
    4. 1.5 in. wheel spacers
    5. Interior trim chrome delete kit (AJT)
    6. LED replacement kit for interior and some exterior bulbs
    7. Fender flares
    8. Window rain guards
    9. Matte black painted interior trim pieces that AJT didn't have

Hoping to wrap the factory 20" TRD sport rims after the above is done. New tires in a few months, want to go from daily driving 33s to all terrain 35s and have some fun with this truck!

This reminds me, I need to do something about mine. Either space the rear one down, remove that little factory t-case plate, or cut a hole in it...

I had a popping noise coming from my passenger side deaver leaf springs. Took it to deaver last Friday and they swapped out the passenger side with a new set under warranty. While they were at it, I had them give me an extra inch of height in the rear. It was previously level and now it sits an inch and a quarter higher in the back. No more weird noises and happy with the new look.

Love your wheels. I really wanted the polished but had to settle for the bronze.

Looks like you have the same ones. I bought these in September of last year during a sale they had but didn’t get to installing them until November.

Did they give a reason why it was popping? I’d be curious.

Well after going back 3 other times for the issue, they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I later discovered one of the rebound clips kept loosening over time and was flapping back and forth. Rather than dealing with that issue they just gave me a new set.

Had a little spare time to finish up the Meso trim pieces for the shifter and throw on the solid black TRD shift knob this morning.

Rolled over 50k. Another 200k miles, and it’ll be broken in. :headbang:

Daggonit if I didn't get to do the $109.99 27F battery deal at Costco today! Thanks guys for posting that here. Original battery was DEAD.
    20230811_154348.jpg

Thankful that it died in my driveway and wasn't stranded. AND I got to test out my Noco GB50! Started the truck without trouble.

Edit to add: this may cost me one of those pretty battery tie-downs you guys have.

Where did you get the Limited fake wood trim? My '16 Ltd has the super glossy really bad fake wood trim, it's bad. I don't mind the fake wood look, it helps break up all the black/silver/gray a bit. Just need less fake gloss look.

I installed my Kenwood DMX709S in my 2021 SR on Wednesday. It took me longer than it should have because I’m dealing with a herniated disk that makes it very hard to do much of anything. But a somewhat leisurely afternoon in the garage was good for me.

I was able to flash the Maestro with custom functions for the steering wheel controls - something as simple as a quick press of the hold button to pause makes a big difference to me. Each button can be programmed with up to 2 functions - one for a short press, and a different function for a long press.

As far as wiring, everything was plug and play, except I had to connect wires for the antenna amplifier, reverse trigger for the backup camera, and I had to ground the parking brake trigger wire to the head unit chassis.

I was a little disappointed that I wasn’t able to keep the factory USB port. To be fair, Crutchfield said it may or may not work. Since I use it every time I’m in the truck, I just pulled the head unit’s USB cables out through a switch blank and connected my lightning cable to it. Wireless CarPlay would have been useless to me as my dash cam connects to my phone through Wi-Fi.

I also gained some features - on-screen display of individual tire pressures and temperatures, as well as 2 customizable screens of gauges that can be displayed. For those that tow, one of the gauge options is trans temp.

Overall I’m happy with the system. I’m not an audiophile, and I don’t need a big screen. I just needed functioning CarPlay since all physical controls (steering wheel as well as the volume knob on the head unit) stopped working with CarPlay after updating my phone to iOS 16.5 and neither Apple nor Toyota was willing or able to come up with a fix.

Sorry for the weird color of the pictures - they were taken in my garage with the fluorescent lights on.

Looks good. I replied to your other post about the USB. There is a cable that allows it to work.
