It's just going to get dirty again. Or it's too hot outside. or "I value family time more"

Just recently got back from a camping trip. Notice some of out travel food had been gotten into. Started checking the engine bay and notice some of the wires had been chewed but not broken through the insulation. Set a trap and got the punk. Went through and change the cabin air filter and found the nest. Set more traps for about a week and nothing. Fingers crossed I got it before any major damage.

Lucky you! Baby squirrel made it into the cab two days after I bought the truck(assume he fell from an overhead tree). Made his way behind the dash and chewed out the majority of my firewall insulation. Found him a couple days after when I noticed that I could REALLLLY hear the engine noises.

I recently had to go the Autozone route and I had problems with the first battery within a week. And it was quite a bit more than $109.

I'm sorry to hear that. Must have been a badly shorted cell. Were you able to confirm charging voltage on the truck afterward with the new battery? The fact that it wouldn't stay running after jumping it would have me a little uneasy about the alternator condition. You're 100% correct, though, that sometimes a dead short will pull the alternator down pretty hard.

Glad it all worked out, sir.

    Edit to add...
And YES, $107 for a new battery of ANY type these days is a screaming deal.

My 202 has a Group 27F (battery terminals swapped). Maybe the Group 27 is somehow shorter? My new battery is definitely taller than the old one was.

Yes, that was my first concern, too. But when I was driving it down to Costco, the blips seemed random. And I've had zero problems since installing the new battery (cranking and driving to work this morning).

Finally got around to installing the driver side grab handle. Took about a week to get the part from a local dealer and about 10 minutes to install.

Thanks @TundraTex the FRAC harness works perfectly.20230802_210146.jpg 20230802_210022.jpgFirst pic looked much better in person, bad camera angle. If you're considering a front camera, the FRAC is plug and play. Excellent installation instructions on the web page

Just look at the metal thickness. Looks like 16...maybe 14ga. Also the welds in the product images. The few welds that exist are poor quality with what appears to be bad penetration.
