definitely would be a crazy far drive for just a BMC. There are lots of shops in my area that are qualified to do it. Everyone I’ve talked to is about a month out though. Busy building rock crawlers this time of year. So I think I’ll try to sweet talk my Dad (who owns an Auto Body Shop) to help me with it. :p

Nice! Where from? Do you know if they are compatible with touch unlock? Really not a fan of the mat black handles, they pick up dust like crazy.

I’m not sure if they are compatible. I do not have that feature, and neither do these handles.

After several 2k mile long trips and in preparation for my upcoming 6k mile trip, I decided to install some seat jackers. Tested them out briefly tonight. They're pricy but the seat feels so much better with that slight lift.

Went to the Thunder Hill raceway (Willows Ca) over the weekend, forecast was 111 for Saturday and 109 for Sunday. As you can see I sleep in my Tepui RTT. Not fun to sleep in that kind of heat. So I rigged up my home AC unit. Built a cardboard tunnel with duct tape, then added 2 hose's that I bought from Home Depot. Then connected to duct hoses, ran 1 hose to the left window of the tent and 1 to the right. Worked like a charm, I slept like a baby! Extreme heat called for extreme creativity!!!

I was skeptical, but came across a good deal on a set and decided what the hell. I've been pleasantly surprised this week how much of a difference I've noticed (and I didn't think things were uncomfortable before)

All of those charges were nuts. The dealership wanted to charge me $750.00 to pull the XREAS off my 2004 4Runner. It takes about 1.5 hours (on a bad day).

Rear has an Icon expansion pack. I think the pic might give a poor perspective of it, because it’s definitely not nose high. I’ll see if I can get a better profile shot today.

Did you pull dimensions from Center off hub to fender opening when parked level?

Yep, it’s sitting a half inch higher in the rear. I might eventually add a CB +1 shackle but this setup will work great for now.

Got these installed finally. Should be able to X-ray the hidden deer now. Hahaha

After a 53 day wait for some new rear shocks, I decided to cancel with that company and go back to 4WP. New Fox 2.0 should be here Tuesday! Wooohoo

I had to source stuff from Best Buy (Kenwood DMX9707S), Crutchfield (sat radio tuner and a couple adapters), and Amazon (dash kit, other adapters) for the install I did on my wife's car. It's crazy that no one has all components in stock together.

Sorry to take this maybe off course... I see you have a Limited, did you have JBL audio? Do you still have the stock speakers? Did replacing only the head unit improve the sound quality for you?

Looking at buying a similar HU and speakers later...

So I just went and re-measured today, and the rear driver's side was about a half inch lower than the rear passenger side, so driver side had no rake at all. But then I pulled up on that corner and heard a pop, almost like the shackle or leaf pack was stuck. After that the measurement was even at the rear and looked better. I'll have to keep an eye on that.

Im wondering if the Wescott front with the CB +3 will leave some rake. Im not really a fan of the leveled look or functionality.

Yeah you'd keep some rake with the +3. I don't think I'm getting an actual 1.5" from my leaf packs, probably more like 1" and why it's so close to level. But that's fine with me for now.

It had the crap JBL system in the beginning. I’ve gutted the entire system, replacing everything. Details are in my build page listed in my signature
