Usually only tow a few times a year to bring the 26’ camper out for hunting season, or to bring the boat to the lake in the spring and home in the fall. Always towing around my 12’ aluminum utility trailer and atv/sled.

How wide is your incoming trailer?

I believe the Apex Nano 185BH is 90" wide. My GeoPro is 92" wide. I have the regular mirrors on my Tundra. I'm okay with them, though I wouldn't mind if they were a bit wider. If my trailer were any wider, I would more seriously consider swapping them out for tow mirrors, but I am comfortable enough with the non-towing mirrors at the width of my trailer.

I think it will be okay, we'll find out later this month. My trailer is 7.5' wide. I have some of those strap on CIPA 11950 Clip-On Towing Mirrors I can use in the meantime if needed. I've got a 1794, so it has BSM and power fold (also the seats have some kind of tie in) to prevent me from having aftermarket mirrors that retain all that functionality.

Boostauto tow mirrors would be able to retain all of that if you really wanted to.

Even though Amazon says they don't fit 2021s I found they fit my 21 SR5 just fine. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AFV7DHW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Didn’t have the balls to try it, although I wanted to. Only a 30min drive from my front door down a dirt road. I just unhooked the utility trailer, parked the camper, then backed up to the utility trailer

After 1800+ miles from Main to South Dakota I picked up this sweet little rig in Sioux Falls. Dragging it across South Dakota to Custer for the new business. I want to say I can’t really feel it back there, but the 20 to 30 mile an hour headwinds won’t allow me to say that LOL

Incoming TT is a Grand Design Imagine 2400BH. Specs note that it is 96" wide. I'd like to avoid installing permanent tow mirrors; want to keep the sport look of the stock ones.

I can relate. I don't want to change my mirrors either. When I towed it with my Tacoma, I could never find good snap on towing mirrors. The Tundra and it's mirrors just barely work for my situation. I wouldn't mind if they were a touch wider for towing, but they work. Just try it out with your new trailer and see how it goes.

The 2400BH is a nice trailer. I hope you enjoy it!

We tow a Keystone Outback, also 96", and the stock mirrors are fine for us. We can see either lane well back behind the trailer, and I've installed a rear camera on the trailer which lets me see all lanes behind it. Longer mirrors would let us see the lanes on either side to the horizon, I suppose, but what we have, with the camera, is quite workable. Our Tundra is a 2018; maybe that matters.

Like others have said, you can see all that you really need to see. Tundra non tow mirrors are almost exactly 96" tip to tip so you are basically the same width as the trailer. I towed a Grand Design Imagine 17MKE and the only thing that I personally did not like is that anything directly behind the trailer when you are moving straight you cannot see. But, if you don't care how many people are behind you, there is more than enough visibility for lane changes and all that.

The rear view camera on the trailer is huge even with tow mirrors. I personally added the power tow mirror because I didn't like how long the truck was with no side markers anywhere until the trailer, and I liked the added size of the glass since I watch them almost as much as I am forward when towing. But that's just me.

Congrats on the 2400bh, btw. We have a 2020 2800bh and love everything about it.

Did the first tow with the mirrors and damn it makes such a difference. I don’t really need them but the visibility doesn’t compare to the stock mirrors, it’s that much better.
