What do you think of the "Front Lip" area?

Since we announced the 3rd Gen Tundra BumperShellz we've had a lot of people asking about the front under grille "lip" area. I'm talking specifically about this area:

And a lot of you, as well as other people, want a BumperShellz overlay solution! That's awesome and we really want to move forward with that, but we need more data to help serve ya'll. It's already blacked out on most models, but what is your reasoning? I've created a poll, but you can also weigh in below!

 

Color match first choice....with black being a very close second.

Colormatch, but if your cover wont have the recessed "tundra" lettering, which is probably a no go for you guys, then my hunt continues.

 

Yes, factory Toyota color match. I’m not concerned with or without the TUNDRA stamp letters, not a deal breaker for me. The Quality of fitment and color match is most important IMO.

 

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking what "Shellz" are?

BumperShellz are hard plastic overlays that adhere to your truck with 3M automotive tape.

 

I prefer my "bumper cover, front, upper" to match the paint color.

 

Fog.... Light.... Cover...? That's silly. They don't cover the fog lights!

"fog lamp surround bar" makes me think it will enhance my home theater experience. Maybe "fog lamp bezel" or just "fog lamp surround".

 

I would like to see the lower part of the front bumper color matched; I like the top portion as is in the digital camo.

 

That's not our part. I was just trying to show the position. I found that truck randomly on Google.

 

Got it, all I am saying is I want only the bottom portion to be color matched with your product and leave the top small section alone. see picture below. I have the Pro and want to keep that small section as is... if that's possible.

 

We'll look into this. We are going to try to gain access to a local truck for scanning and fitting purposes for an overnight stay.

That being said, if anyone in the Greater Sacramento area wants to let us borrow their truck for a couple days, we'll give you free product for your time and truck.
