So many negative threads & complaints here lately, thought it start a thread with positive things about the 3rd. Gen. So, tell us what you like, or love about your truck.
As for me, I absolutely love the Smoked Mesquite color, & it looks good with the lines of the truck.
My truck is quiet, comfortable, easy to drive, has plenty of technology, tows like a dream & has been an enjoyment to drive. I love the shorter windshield, & the interior design. Mostly, I don't worry about it, I go out, start it, drive it, without worries.
There's always a few drawbacks, & no vehicle is without a few complaints or things you would do differently, you certainly can't please everyone all of the time. Post your likes.

I like the fact that my truck is simply a tool, not a part of my identity. Otherwise, I'd be kinda depressed. LOL.

I love the quiet and smooth ride!! Even with the westcott lift and E rated 35’s, it still rides smooth! Also, not to mention the power! The power of the iForce max is insane and there’s no lag like there was in the 5.7 V8. All around great truck and the haters can kiss my @$$!

like the full back window slide. Like that it gets about the same mpg that my Tacoma did, "I really miss it", which leads to interior room which the family loves and I grudgingly have to admit it's great for family trips. Like that I now have air vents in the back which the tacoma didn't . Like the 10 speed transmission. like having storage under the seat. Don't need a truck box now. Like the way it rides. Finally Like the color as it looks just like my old tacoma just bigger.

For me when I was shopping for a new truck coming from an F150

    1. Interior and technology the 360 camera, 14 inch screen are massive upgrades to me.
    2. 1794 Trim, again the whole interior is amazing the leather, full sunroof and the signature roll down window.
    3. Exterior styling, I never had chrome before so I did it in combination with the blue print it’s a great looking truck.

I’m really happy switching from Ford to Toyota

Seats are comfortable including extend leg support for long trips
    Under seat storage with dividers
    120V in cab and bed
    Pano roof
    Tow/haul plus mode
There aren’t a million of them that look the same everywhere I go (sierra, f-150, ram)
The engine - yeah I said it
The interior console area is large and looks great

And there’s room for fat chicks in the back

I love that I don't see many Tundras. ( seems like this week i have seen way more Tundra in a week than i have since owning theG3 since last May) That get more people to see a truck that's not a chevy or ford or dodge.

I love the ride quality, the power and interior comfort/amenities that my truck has. I also love the Celestial Silver Metallic paint. I believe it hides the dirt better than any other colour and saves me time and water trying to keep it clean.

Coming from a life of Chevy's this move was a calculated purchase.
This truck has met all and has exceeded my conservative expectations of it.
The overall stance with the non OEM tires is simply beautiful, the linear lines on the quarter panels combined with the hood and with the right light makes the Wind Chill Pearl look like it belongs on the cover of a Truck magazine.

The 14" infotainment center is great when paired up with Google maps in satellite mode,or the 60/40 screen with Nav and album covers is pretty convenient or just balls out cool, with a movie on Netflix in Surround mode on.
And no I glimpse from time to time while on but listen to it.

The overall ergonomics of the interior are comfortable, especially the drivers seat with the calf rasing pad for road trips or the ventilated & heated seats.
The load leveling mixed with AVS is a revolation,Comfort is mainly what I drive with,Sport + is pretty cool with the stiffened suspension, tighten steering wheel increased HP along with shifting points adjusted. But Tow+ is savage with 100% full on raw power @437HP /583 Torque.
Driving on a warm days cranking tunes on Spotify with the pano wide open and the rear window dropped....Man, it's days like that I really enjoy driving this truck & look forward to Spring getting here.

Nice thread Raven67,as of late it dose seem that it's all doom and gloom here.
I miss the time when I couldn't wait to jump on first thing in the morning to see what I missed on new threads.
    Anyhow thanks:thumbsup:

I agree. I've gotten alot of good ideas here, & spent alot of $$ too. Lately the threads have been terrible. I do love my truck & hope to see more good things about the 3rd gen. Obviously, it's here to stay.

    Lol,it is.
2015 I gave it to my wife instead of trading it in,she loves it and didn't want to see it go:angrygirl:

I put air bags in the rear,H2O proof led strip lights under the running boards, 2" level pucks for the front,2 12 watt led back up lights tucked up under the rear, installed a 2.9L Whipple SC.
with K&N CAI.and K&N SS Cat back exhaust.

Yeah she's only 4'11@ 104# I had to steal a booster seat from Mc Donald's for her to see over the dash:)

I like the infotainment system, power steps, headlights, transmission

Dislikes: wind noise, rear diff whine, boat like turning and handling while feeling every bump.

Coming from a no frills Frontier that I had for over 9 years, even my lowly SR5 still feels luxurious to me.

Likes: TRD 3” lift I got just before the stop sale, transmission, aesthetics, de-badging (SX package), getting the same MPG as my Frontier, and jumping on it to merge onto the highway only to look down and realize I’m already somehow at 75mph
