    Hey guys,

I recently purchased a 2016 SR5 TRD off-road. I’m not sure if the front suspension is just worn out, or if it has always been under dampened, but it feels like poo poo. I’m looking for an upgrade, but I’m lost on options.

I make it out on dirt about once a month, maybe more, but it’s nothing crazy. I don’t bomb through whoops, or rock crawl. Mostly dirt roads to camp, hunt, etc. I don’t think I need kings, but I’m lost in the lower end options. 5100s? 6112s? If I’m gonna spend $900 on 6112s, should I buy Fox 2.5 coil overs for $1200? Can I get buy with 4600s and a puck in the front? I’m lost. Please help.

I have TRD off road suspension (4600) and it’s technically enough for what you’re doing.
I had no issues with trails but i don’t test it since i know it’s limitations.

If your shocks need to be replaced i’d go with something a bit better since you’re paying install price. 5160 & 6112 would be next for me unless i get a great deal on trd pro fox suspension

6100 Bilsteins in front and 5100s in back and it is super smooth! I took off the crappy strut spacers and rear blocks from a leveling kit with the n3 shocks from rough country. My truck rode like crap with that cheap Rc lift. bilsteins on the tundra are awesome. Installed by 4wp out the door about $1800
