90-something Toyota 4Runner (bought it wrecked with no title. Never got this one fully up and running. Eventually sold it)
    07' GMC Sierra

The S10 was the most reliable vehicle I ever owned. Maybe the Tundra will take over that title? We shall see. The Blazer was the most capable off-road vehicle I owned. Again, maybe the Tundra will take that title now. The problem is I had the Blazer when I was about 18-19 years old so I don't expect to drive the Tundra in the abusive way I drove the Blazer so I may never find out.

No pictures, my last truck was a 2002 F-250 SuperDuty crew cab 2x4 7.3L Powerstroke auto. When I sold the truck it had 387,xxx miles. Zero issues with the engine but had to put three transmissions in her. I sold it to a guy who runs a lawn mowing business and he’s put another 100g miles on her.

HA! I had an 88 Trooper and a 98 Trooper. The only reason I didn’t have a 2008 was the stopped making them. Fuck Consumer Reports.
Kept the 98 until I got the 13 Tundra. I'd probably still have the 98, thestarter died and you had to pull the engine to replace it.

    2018 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition w/ TRD Off-Road Package
2008 4Runner V8 Limited - best car I’ve ever had but the Tundra is a close second

1998 Nissan Pathfinder - p.o.s “SUV” of very very little utility or off road value

2003 Acura CL coupe — needed a brand new engine at only 25k miles because the oil was bypassing the pistons or something and it destroyed half the six cylinders

1997 Honda Accord EXL - bought brand new. needed a brand new transmission at a cost of $8k - no joke. The original died at exactly two miles after the 100k extended factory warranty ended. Honda didn’t care.

    2001 BMW Z3 2.5 — damn that was a fun car. I miss it.

1998 Saturn SC2 — bought new. Returned for refund a week later. Just wasn’t as comfortable on long drives as I thought it’d be.

1992? Acura Legend — electrical system was a disaster at only 75k miles.

1988 Toyota Corolla — first car I ever had; bought when I was 18.

1989 Honda Accord LX — original owners hit a telephone pole at 70mph. Car was totaled. Their insurance company somehow got it back on the road. Forged title. I bought it and it was a disaster from the week I bought it until the day the brakes failed coming off the freeway and it nearly killed me. It was either hit the brand new MB S550 at the front of me or go over the embankment, jump the curb, and hope for the best. I chose the latter. The body shop said it was a miracle the car didn’t literally split in half given how damaged the frame was from the prior owners.

I will never, EVER by another Honda or Acura. I’m the statistical outlier consumer reports just ignores.

But the rest were mostly good cars. Toyotas by far the best. BMW by far the most fun.

Oh god this is a long list... I have owned the following in this exact order since getting my license.
    • 2003 Silverado 1500 (total POS, engine nuked itself 2 months after buying it.)
    • 2004 GMC Yukon Denali (great suv, put 100k on it no problems)
    • 2013 Chevy Camaro V6 (great car, put 80k on it no problems)
    • 2018 Audi A4 (great car surprisingly, put 30k or so on it)
    • 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Duramax (Loved this truck, the 3.0 duramax was awesome)
    • 2018 Mercedes C43 AMG (I went through a phase of not wanting a truck, which I regretted heavily after a few weeks. Traded it in with temp tags still on it)
    • 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave (Another POS, spent more time at the dealership than my house)
    • 2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon (Amazing truck- never should have sold it. Fell for the bronco hype)
    • 2022 Bronco Wildtrak (Another POS, had tons of issues and sold it after a few months and 5k miles. left me stranded 3 times in the woods and lost brakes on the freeway)
    • 2022 Toyota Tacoma (The bronco was so unreliable I just wanted something that worked and this dealer gave me the most for my bronco at the time)
    • 2021 Toyota Tundra (Current truck)
    • 2013 FJ Cruiser (I bought this earlier this summer but sold it after a bit cause 2 cars didn't make as much sense in the real world as it did in my head)
Everything from that Audi to the Ram was during peak used car market craze and I made money on every one of those vehicles. My favorite story to tell is how I put ~15k miles on a Jeep gladiator and somehow sold it for a profit lol. But what goes around comes around and I lost my ass on the bronco- still licking my wounds on that one.

I have to say that the Tundra has been my favorite of the fleet by far, with the Power Wagon being a close second. I have almost bought another Power Wagon on 2 separate occasions since buying the tundra but the longer I have the tundra the more I love it. I'm a sucker for the RAM though. The tacoma was cool too but I am 6'6" and it was not for me- plus someone else already built it so it didnt feel like mine. I bought it already fully done.

Pictures of my favorites. Built all of these from stock minus the tacoma. Can't take credit for that one.

POS 2013 Silverado 4x4 1/2 ton. You know Chevys are a POS when you are willing to trade back to a 2007 Tundra with over 200K on it.

    I had a 1996 T100
    t100 2.jpg

Then I had a 2010 Tundra DC 2wd (I hated this truck and never should have bought it. I owned it for a year and then sold it to a co worker who still owns it to this day)
    19844_1325972518972_5253161_n.jpg

Then a 2006 Tundra Double Cab. I loved this truck and it is still to this day the vehicle I have owned the longest.
    IMG_2110.jpg

Then a 2019 Tacoma Double Cab. With my son moving out of the house I figured I could downsize a little bit. I ended up not enjoying this truck as much as I should have with all the gear hunting and other issues.
    245365214_10225823780370785_3048087521493924265_n.jpg

And now a Tundra Crewmax. I'm perfectly happy with this truck, just like I was with the 2006. I'll have this one for quite awhile.

Almost everything. LOL. The fact that it was a 2wd, even though when I bought it I convinced myself it would be fine. It was the first new vehicle I ever bought and that may have blinded me a little to it as well. I actually grew to hate how it looked. The area down low where the bed meets the cab is horrible looking to me. A lot of the truck felt like they just made it good enough and not great. I felt like the build quality was complete crap when compared to my T100 that was 14 years older. I had been looking at 1st gen double cabs and that's what I should have bought. After the newness wore off I had a truck I was paying almost $600/month for that I didn't like. It was a good learning experience for me. And I ended up getting that 1st gen and loving it.

I've only had 1 truck in my 42 years. Drove it brand new off the lot in '01. Ran it to only 130k miles till I ended up with a cracked head last year. She's currently SLOWLY going thru an overhaul(engine rebuild)
    1733362830665.jpg IMG_20210914_182940.jpg 20240218_160144.jpg

Had my dad's truck after he passed away that I'd use as a secondary vehicle so I didn't put too many miles on my Taco but this is my pride n joy.

    I drove a 2006 Mazda Speed 6 Mazda.jpg
I traded it in to get my 2016 SR5 Tundra back in 2019.
I went from driving in left lane on interstate to right lane on interstate.
I also went from filling up with Premium to Regular Unleaded.
When I traded it in. It was at 360 WHP with 363 Torque.
It was AWD. I had upgraded the Turbo, Intercooler, Internals on Fuel Pump, upgraded the exhaust to Magnaflow cat less exhaust with cat less downpipe.
It also had a carbon fiber hood.
    I had lowered it 1 1/2 inches.
New wheels with low profile tires.
