truck finally bit the dust yesterday. Had 280,000 miles on it. Motor is shot. What do you think I can sell it for? It is 4 door with ARE camper shell. Decent body, no real damage...I am already looking at another one

Why not just pull the motor and replace it with a lower mileage one from a junkyard?

i figured with that many miles, it wouldn't be long before other things start going...

Hard to tell with no pics or more information. As a lawn ornament, maybe $1k? With a solid running motor maybe $5k?

That is only 20k miles per year and not too far off averages. Many on here are well north of that. I would kick the curb on finding a running motor as I think you will get more out of it.

With a functional 4WD system and good body I would probably ask 3-4k for it. Start high. Someone will want it.
