My wife doesn't have a ton of hobbies - she usually just gets into what I do (fishing, shooting, camping, canoeing). She's a great artist, and used to paint or sketch quite often, but doesn't really do that stuff anymore anyway. I've bought her related gifts but they all seem to just collect dust after the initial excitement of getting them. Her birthday is on the 20th too - I've already purchased her a new laptop for her birthday, but am looking for something more personal for Xmas. Wondering if you guys can help me with some gift ideas..

She'll wear jewelry on special occasions but I wouldn't say she's really a fan of jewelry, or this would be easy. =(

Anyway, maybe you guys can help me be a hero for Xmas..

I'm always tempted to buy guns for uh.. her.. but I don't think that's gonna fly.

I'm getting the latest Apple gadget for my wife - an "I-ron". I'm expecting a tattoo, er, branding. :)

Phil, maybe get her some IPads with that Iron. I think these new IPads must be bigger and faster though, they're calling them Super Max IPads...

Get her an elliptical machine, at least that's one of the things I'm getting my wife. My wife really wants one, so BAM! it's coming.

Good thing she really wants one. I don't know a woman who would react too well to getting an exercise machine that she didn't want. I can imagine it now...."WHAT'S THIS SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!?!?"

I guess I never thought of it like that. That wouldn't be too funny (even though I was laughing inside at your comment).

Go look at the original thread; there's a vid about being in the doghouse. Watch that and then come back and see if an elliptical is a good idea LOL!

Haha, these were my thoughts when I read this too. An eliptical machine could turn out to be very expensive what with the cost of alimony, rent, etc..
