Hell I almost got taken by a scam the other day. Email comes in looking like Ace Hardware doing a survey. Said I could win a free Milwaukee drill. 25 questions no deep thinking and get to the end. "I won!" only 3 free drills left hurry and pay shipping only. My dumb ass whips out debit card and I got the first 4 numbers in and stopped. "WTF am I doing?" the website had some jacked up name, the original email didn't come from Ace Hardware!
OK so my weakness is for Milwaukee tools, must keep up the guard, nothing is FREE!

 

People calling Lunar Rock "lunarock" or "luna rock" and thinking it's clever.

 

The incessant barrage of surveys and/or requests begging me to rate a product or service I just received. Further, when said survey is more than 5 relevant questions. I might do a brief survey, but I sure as hell am NOT filling out anything that has more questions than a college course final exam.

 

Banks that won't take coins. They say "it needs to be in rolls" (even though a few years ago they wouldn't take rolled coins - they had to be loose!). But what if we don't have enough for a roll? "Take it to our branch which has a change counting machine", which happens to be at least 30 mins away. It's legal tender and they're a bank (in this case, credit union). It's like they don't want our money. I know we're being pushed toward digital currency, but until that happens and we can get change from a store (yes, we still use cash around our household), they should take our coins.

 

I get annoyed when an obnoxious song come on the radio and I change the station and the same annoying song is playing.

 

People saying heighth.

 

They're testing our emergency alert system today and some kind of glitch has caused them to send 7 8 alerts in the last 15 minutes.

 

I didn't get any of them. I have the alerts all turned off on my phone except for "Extreme threats to life or property"

I'm not allowed to keep a crossword puzzle and a pencil on the table because it looks "too messy". Meanwhile, this is what the table looks like most of the time.

 

Had to drive to Charleston, back to Greenville and back home today. Most interstate driving i've done in a while. Notice that it really is only the BMWs and Landrovers who come flying up on your ass and tail gates. I'm doing just under 80 in the passing lane, chill out, you really are not that important.

A couple of my friends discovered that Samsung won't let you opt out of emergency alerts.

If I can't opt out of shit, I'm not interested. Samsung can now fuck off.

OMG yes, at my house. Is a bone of contention.

 

my wife has a habit of stuffing tissues in her PJ pockets and not taking them out, so when it gets washed there is shreds of tissue all over the washer/dryer. Honestly makes me consider a divorce every time lol.

 

I try to clean it from time to time but I get tired of being the only person in the house who's ever able to tidy anything.

 

Are we married to the same person? Lol if it wont cause damage or cost money then i leave it be. I don't touch certain things because then it'll be my job.

 

Yes, the hypocrisy of our significant others knows no bounds at times. My GF just railed at her daughters for not unpacking their suitcases from last weekend but yet here’s this…Granted she’s at least started, but still.
