    Lost track after #1.
That sounds like a belt squeak or maybe a pulley bearing to me.

Pull the belt off, and spin all the idler / tensioner pulleys, as well as the alternator, water pump, A/C clutch pulley, and might as well check how the P/S pump feels while you’re there.

I’m going to bet on an idler / tensioner pulley, it should be obvious when you spin it by hand.

If nothing shows up, and tge belt has no obvious damage, reinstall the belt and squirt water with a couple drops of soap on the belt with a spray bottle while it’s idling and squeaking. If it shuts up for even a few seconds with the soapy water replace the belt.

Sound went away and is not there today. What is the best belt and idler pulley to get if I want to replace them both for PM. I have never changed main belt before but I have my Haynes manual to help me.
    Thanks. D

I went with the Gates belt and Gates Tensioner a while back and they seem to work fine.
