It's man made, but not a landfill.

 

It isn’t so much an event as it is talking about locals in the LA/Venutara/IE areas getting a bite to eat, maybe drink and hang out, so we threw ideas of Rancho Cucamonga and the west side beach area of LA as possible places. Some of us are not looking to camp out but just hang and BS, that’s all.

 

Yep, a 'land fill', not a "landfill". Formed with sand moved up from he bottom of the bay to make the bay deep enough for the keels of huge warships to port here. That's how Harbor Island and Shelter Island were made too.

 

Yeah, yeah, we know.

It's just that, we're many of us as social in person as we are on the forum, you try to put together a small meet in your local In N Out... or a couple trucks to run an easy dirt trail up a mountain to have pizza, and 27 trucks show up.

@Marty McFly taught us this is normal SoCal social behaviour: "Hollywood, innit!"

We know y'all need a meet up Orange/ Riverside area. But... if you'll schedule it somewhere with a big parking lot and somewhere a group could hang out awhile, you might get to meet more of us. I saw good suggestions for beaches in OC.

Otherwise , I suppose... ... we could... <gulp>... split up ... into separate local area groups.

Mrs. gave me the green light for a bed rack/RTT but I can't pull the trigger on one. Pros and cons to all of the major brands.

Very slow LOL. We have no clue on what to do first. But hopefully we can kick it into gear with in the next few weeks

Yeah that has not happened yet LOL I was suppose to be getting our extra room ready but it’s been a crazy couple of months. I’m hoping around thanksgiving since I’ll have a few days off

I'm telling you, get a meet place organized and tell me what colours Jen wants for the kennel. Ima get y'all a crate (pack n play) so the puppy can come off-roading with us! (You can use it for beach and family stuff if you want, between Tundra meets. )

 

I supposed we could all meet and paint the kennel! Take 10 minutes (except you'll probably need to replace the carpet after we leave (spilled paint, beer, and dirt). If we did that, could we drag you guys out to dirt after...?
