A/C is still out. We’ve replaced the pool pump and the water heater so far this year, and have been saving cash to re-do our front yard, and think we finally have enough. 2020 is so bad in so many ways for so many people— and we’re still working full time, making full pay, and not sick (blessed!)— so we kind of are just embracing the suck! We have a pool, and I switched from working nights to days so, other than this weekend and another early this summer, it hasn’t been horrible. But this weekend... is somewhat uncomfortable for sure. :bananadead:

Kid’s doing a socially distanced back yard camp out for Boy Scouts though, so we’re grilling outside and sleeping in tents. Haha! 2020 fun!

No worries, we were in Temecula by that time getting my car serviced. By the way took them 3 1/2 hours. Ugh!

Hey Guys, Im planning a road trip to TJ in my truck. I have a 2019 TRD Pro VB. Looking for some feed back if I should cross over with my truck and if its a good idea. I know the border is closed but I plan to go to Ensenada and Rosarito for a week. Oh I also have a Sentry Pass and my truck is registered.

It’s all personal preference but I find it safe to take my truck down there. Most insurances cover up to 100 miles in mexico(State Farm does for sure as that’s what I have) if you have a sentry that’s even better your line times will be a lot shorter. We love the food at the border so we never applied for sentry lol

Thanks, for the info. I know that if I were going to the borders south of Texas, there are banditos looking out for truck like ours and just dont want the headaches.

Don’t get me wrong they are everywhere. I have never had any problems. Most places have a security guard at the parking lots or at hotels. I’ve taken mine all the way down to San Quintin BC and didn’t have problems.

Too f’ing hot for too long! Heat finally broke so yeah, minor mods and yard projects.

I was casually monitoring a tune thread, but that pastime ended abruptly. ;)

Yeah, weekend is supposed to back at 100 here.

A friend reminded me that I once fixed my air conditioner. So, once I stared at it a while, I remembered I could replace the capacitor for about $32 which was a worthwhile gamble that paid off. So now we’re back sleeping in the house, almost “normal”.

And also just installed 8” standard system from BAMufflers and painted the tailpipe section black to match.
