Wondering if this is a common tundra problem or just me? I have a 2008 crewmax 5.7 sr5 and ever since i've had it the blower motor feels super lazy. The air is hot and cold respectively but there is so little air blowing from the vents it's almost pathetic, it takes forever to defrost the windshield even when the engine is warm. The fan speed knob is working, it ramps up as i crank it up, just doesnt move much air. I checked the air filter and looked inside to see if it was plugged, it looks brand new inside, then I tried just removing the filter, no change. Anyone else have this issue, any fixes?

I think this is a known issue for Tundra's and some other Toyota's that I assume use the electronic air dampeners instead of the older mechanically linked air system delivery. Their air duct flaps that done operate properly due to age.. you may try to spray some lithium grease on the air box system to make them move better and it might unstuck some flaps if you have that problem. But yes the blower on the Tundra sucks arse.. btw how many miles do you have on yours? i bet this problem starts after 150k miles or so.
