Do I need a WDH when towing a 6700 lb (loaded) travel trailer? Is the sway control on the Tundra able to control the swaying of the trailer? How about keeping the truck and trailer level?

    Cheers,

    Tuffy

Thank you Steve, you answered my questions.

I am strongly considering the Andersen hitch, due to its low weight, easy storage, lack of a ball covered in grease and many positive reviews.

Looking at the anderson as well. Seen mixed reviews though.

Just picked up a unit to pull behind the Tun and Sequoia.20190324_110740.jpg

Is the front of your Tundra now higher than when the trailer is disconnected? This would affect your steering and braking.

X2 Very good unit, I use this myself and customer service is top notch.

My Aunt has the Anderson and its not a bad setup, she seems to like it. I helped her install it, very simple. Customer service was hit or miss for her with that company.

It is. No it wont. And why a WDH is needed.
