Water Pump

Hey All,

I am sharing some information regarding water pump selection. I was in the process of getting the parts for the water pump job, but it was going to take too long for it to be delivered and the local dealership wanted two times the price of what I went with. I bought an Aisin pump and upon removing the OEM discovered that it was labeled Aisin as well. What's more interesting is that the replacement that I ordered seems to have been stamped Toyota but was grinded off. I will post pictures to show the differences between the two. I am just sharing information on here for those that are going to tackle this in the future.

The pump I got from RA was also Aisin with the Toyo logo ground off.

I went ahead and bought one from a dealer afterwards (just because and there was a sale) - they look identical.
