I have an '18 Tundra TRD 4X4 and I had a situation a while back where my pre-collision and lane departure system was not working and to visit my dealer. I stopped for gas, turned the truck back on and the warning lights went out. I was away on vacation and called my dealer the next day during business hours and told them what happened. I was told since all the lights went out not to worry about it. Then yesterday on my way home from fishing, I had a warning horn sound and the dashboard LED lit up with a big red "BRAKES!" That lasted 3 seconds at most but went out and didn't come back on. Could have caused an accident as it startled me and I was going 65 MPH at the time. Anyone else have these issues?

There is a lot of threads/ comments on this issue... so a search for "TSS malfunction". Hope that helps. I've got issues myself with it.

    ^^^^ this
I had a couple anomalies like this when I purchased my '18 last Oct.
Toyota issued a ECU recall and software update on this problem in Feb/Mar .
    The issues disappeared.

Do you by chance have any other info on the ecu/ software recall and updates? I'm looking for ammo when I have to reapproach the dealer again.....

Thank you. That is the first I heard of a recall.
