Has great illustrations of the dangers of towing beyond capabilities or just driving to fast.

 

This video is dumb because they are blaming this on small tow vehicles and large trailers rather than improperly setup rigs.

 

Good reminder. I have seen a lot of airbags installs here in the forum. Those things can and do burst on occasion... often when not expected. There are other options.

 

Ok title is kinda wrong. But I feel its a good video on possible speeding and just driving to fast.

point one some of the tow vehicles involved in the wrecks are passing semi trucks. Its likely they are going over 50-55mph to pass if not even faster!

modern trucks or hd suvs are so refined and make drivers feel so invincible when towing. But just stay alert stay safe we all share the roads together.

 

I saw an excursion (Ford f-250/350 super duty chassis), an f-250 (extended cab long bed), then a Ford econoline, a suburban, and the last one looked like a expedition. These are all quite long wheelbase.

I would say speed, conditions, and poor loading probably played more of a role than the vehicle size.
