Want to white out my Tundra

I'm needing some advice and info if y'all have it. Everything that is chrome I want white and would like my grill black. Not sure how to go about doing any of this. Links to parts or suggestions are welcomed.

 

Thought for sure this was gonna be a thread about MGM owner's wanting to change the color of their rigs

 

Plenty of ways depending on budget. Order replacement parts from @Roman
Plastidip chrome parts.
Vinyl wrap or powder coat bumper caps.
Have it painted by a professional.

LOL. They already know how, just afraid to do it so they won't be called a traitor

 

Color matched surround/bulge with TRD Pro grill insert would work.
I'm having the same internal debate with my MGM, to dechrome or not. And if (when?) do I stick with the current grill or go with the Pro grill.

 

Hell no we don't want to look like we work for Direct TV .

 

There are those that like directtv and those that stick with MGM. Like people who like wet grocery bags, sit on gum or spilling coffee on themselves

That is where I started. I had to get rid of the lights too. Undecided on bumper caps. May go black. After seeing a used one on dealers lot with painted ends chipped up I have pretty much ruled out paint

If you’re patient and persists you’ll run into a deal on a grill and hood budge. I see a few floating here and there. I slowly dechromed mine piece by piece.

I bought a Platinum grill and bulge for $200.

Then found a TRD pro grill insert for $100.

Sold the platinum insert for $75.

Then, I went to parts-geek and got plastic bumper ends for $150 for both and got them painted for $100.

 

There has never been such a blasphemous post, sir.

 

At least we have a color...

I choose to have mine painted locally. High end shop that stands behind their work, and has no issues painting the chrome. Done a few local Tundras as well. Dropped everything off today.

 

Truthfully I like white. Have had a few white 4X4s. I give you white Tundra guys crap because it's fun......

Cement is the best. Do you fleet truck guys, oops I mean white truck guys even have clear coat paint? Any sparkles in that white paint? Guess it is better...

 

I’m hopeful, they do it a lot. I kinda want my metal bumper corners, like them better than plastic.

 

Yes, sparkles. Unicorns have sparkles and unicorns are unique, awesome and mystical.

 

Anyone willing to be seen in an MGM can’t care much about what they get called, can they?
