Got my heart broken a few days ago when I found out my dealer is going to be charging $10k over sticker for the Tundra and who knows what for the pro. Had a feeling when they took my check but didn't deposit it.

Pretty late now to order somewhere else, not getting response from any other dealers in town. They are all full msrp or over for everything right now too.

Ordered my wife a 2022 Rubicon so I can get my GX back, which should easily last me until Sequoias hit lots prob late 2022 early 2023. Will definitely need something bigger by then.

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YALL.

Your dealer sucks. Tell them so. And tell them they lost your business for life. There are dealers out there who will agree to MSRP. Find them. If there aren’t any in your state, make a trip out of it. A one-way domestic plane ticket to drive your new truck back will ALWAYS be worth not paying $10k over sticker.

Just signed for a Limited Crewmax Wednesday to come next month at MSRP. Dealer waived their mark up based on business relationship. Just need to call around and maybe wait out the first two month of rush for the truck for better luck. Autonation dealerships seem to not be doing mark ups, smaller franchises that depend on the business relationships as well. Be patient as you still have 8 months before the Sequoia drops, if not 10 months.

Dealer markups? They should be paying ME to take a TTV6 instead of a V8. I don't want or need a lesser engine that isn't up to the job so they had to throw turbos on it which make it more complex and prone to breaking down. All for a couple MPG.

All the new trucks and SUVs sit sooo low. Sure some of them will fit 35s stock, but even with bigger tires on stock ride height they are too low. Remind me of how 70/80s stationwagons sit. 2 inch lift on my 2016 looks like a 4 inch lift on the 2022s. Wind resistance, MPG, I get why they are lower, just venting.

Good video. I would love to get 19mpg consistently, and the SRA setup does emulate a Land Cruiser for offroadability. Definitely a good Land Cruiser replacement. There hasn't been much aftermarket suspension builds yet but there will be plenty soon, and the Tundra TRD $4k build will work on the Sequoia.

I can't afford a new one but for those that can with a lift kit it will be a badass offroad jumbo-sized SUV.
