So Android Auto mostly works (lately it doesn't start by itself anymore but I suspect that Android Auto is the culprit, not Toyota) but my biggest gripe is the voice command button on the steering wheel instead of accepting voice commands to Android Auto, it uses Toyota's voice interface instead, forcing me to have to look at the screen and press the microphone button to use voice commands which is not great when you're driving. Besides the fact that Toyota's voice recognition is absolute garbage for this day and age, any other cars I drove with Android Auto, once Android Auto starts, voice command button on the steering wheel takes voice commands in Android Auto, not in their native system, which makes perfect sense. Why would Toyota be different?
