Wired up vled puddle lights to the footwell light in my 15 TRD Pro and they don’t come on. Followed several of the instructions here on the forum so I’m scratching my head. I tested them with a 9v battery and they worked.

Flip the wires to see if they work after that, LED bulbs are polarity sensitive so they have to be exactly in the positive or negative to work correctly.

Tried that, still nothing. When I tested them before install, I switched + and - and it didn’t matter, they still lit up. I did notice the T5 bulb missing from the socket, would that make any difference?

Yes sir, but if you bought the VLEDs T5 base adapter you have to use it in place of the original bulb

    Check your fuses as well

I didn’t purchase the adapter, just the puddle lights. All fuses are good.
