    Alot of them
They look too much like the 3rd gen taillights IMO. I don't know what their reliability is like but there has been a small handful of members here that have had them in the past. If you are just trying to move up to leds, I recommend the Hottails kit from @memario1214

Hey George, I’m already run led bulbs in my tail lights but just looking for a custom more modern look. Your right in that there do mimic the 3rd gen lights and I do like the look. They normally sell for around $279. I did read a few posts and the reliability seems fine and Amazon review are good but not sure if I trust Amazon reviews.

I did see the Hottails but they seem a little pricey at $360 for a wiring harness and bulbs.

I like mine. Had them for a year. Only issue is the first set I ordered had a small piece of plastic floating around inside the lense housing. Could be seen looking at the taillight but couldn’t be taken out. So if you buy at $230 make sure you have a return option or can see before you buy.

The purchase is through EBay so I’m assuming they could be returned if there are any defects. The seller made the $230 on a counter offer and I have until about 6pm tonight to decide.

As it is a safety element, after having the occupants of a French police car in front of me checking if the stock front turn signals were faultym I swallowed the price and went full Morimoto: Front, rear and 3rd brake light. They are DOT approved and by making very visible all turn indication clear to the other users, they contribute to making the road a safer place to be.

Ah ok. I was considering something like them for my second gen but I would be more inclined to go with a clear lens.

Not a fan of aftermarket tail lights because most of them look so 'space age' and ugly..
    But these look nice.
If I didn't have the hottails, I'd consider these.

    Good luck..

I received the Vland lights today but didn’t install them. I had to purchase a new signal light flasher and won’t be here till the end of the week. My current flasher is modified to run LED bulbs front and back. The Vland tail lights already have a 50W resistor installed so my modified flasher isn’t going to work. Question for those that have installed the Vland tail lights. Do you have non resistance LED front turn signals and do they hyper flash? Since the Vland tail lights already have 50W resistors installed it should be enough resistance to account for the front led bulbs?

I installed the VLand tails and headlights with no other resistors than what came in my headlight and taillight harness. It came to me as a true plug and play. I have no hyper flash, nor did it require any special harness.

Do the Vland headlights use an incandescent turn signal bulb or are they LED?

@Ruggybuggy I can't wait to see what these look like on your truck! I've been on the fence with these and just haven't pulled the trigger since there has been so few ppl with them here.

    Hope they turn out great!

I did install one just to see how it looked and was pleased. I did bench test the lights to make sure they worked and was surprised at how bright they are. They also had a DOT certification number which I wasn’t expecting.

Do you know if the Vland headlights are using a resistor like the ones installed on their tail lights?

Yeah the resistor is included in the wiring harness. Easiest plug and play upgrade I did. And the lighting improvement is worth the cost imo.

I was hopping you would say “no resistors” so I’ll be buying the inline resistors for mine.

The resistors are in the wiring harness, not the assembly's.

Yes but you are using resistors for the front LED bulbs as well as the Vland LED taillight which already have the resistors mounted to the housing, correct?

I don't have the vland bulbs installed in my oem housing. I have vland tails and headlight assembly's. Both led, and both have their own resistors. tails on the housing, fronts on the wiring harness itself.

as a statement of clarification I'm pretty novice when it comes to wiring overall, so I could be confusing you.

I understand now. I will require the resistors on the front for my LED bulbs. Thanks for the info.
