Big mods are coming soon, but not too soon.
I'll be visiting the NW area of Wyoming. Not far from Yellowstone. I am not setup for any trails, but I am excited to be visiting Wyoming. For a first timer in Wyoming, do you have any suggestions or recommendations for me?

I will be visiting Yellowstone while I'm there.

Thank you and see you in Wyoming soon...

Naturally Yellowstone NP and Grand Teton NP are the top places to visit but there's the nearby towns of Cody and Jackson. Cody has the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and Wild West Spectacular shows. Jackson has an aerial tram and bars like Silver Dollar Bar & Grill and Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Both are steeped in wild west history so there's lots to check out and enjoy.

If you have time, the Devil Tower National Monument is in the NE corner of WY. Just next door in South Dakota, there's Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Wind Cave NP in the Black Hills NF.

    Tastefully enhanced...
Roads are good, lots of others driving everywhere too, you shouldn't have any issues. Fuel stations a plenty...park traffic is 55mph and the parks just opened last weekend...should be good. We did, however, just get 6" of snow this morning so be prepared for ALL of the weather while visiting!

Brace for the prices in the Jackson area. That's where all the transplants move to because it's pretty, and all the pricing reflects it. Stupid expensive area. Beautiful country, but it's been pretty well overrun with non-Wyoming people.

When you're in Yellowstone, be sure to check out The Grand Canyon at Yellowstone. It was my personal favorite thing to see in the park, and I didn't even know it existed!

Airbox with K&N Filter, 2" lift on 33's, Alpine iLX-F309 head unit, Pull out bed tool boxes, brown with black trim, rims, etc, black leather interior, matching topper. Muffler delete (too loud..) 62k miles!!!
There are spots outside of Cody by the airport that you can drive maintained dirt roads and see wild horses. The Pryor mountains are a fun trip as well and accessible from the Wyoming side and go into Montana. There is an ice cave there and a wild horse refuge at the top of the mountain. Hogan reservoir and Clarks Fork Canyon are nice places to visit as well. Buffalo Bill Dam and the reservoir too and a ride up to Medicine Wheel is breath taking as well as Beartooth Pass, Red Lodge and pretty much any entrance into Yellowstone. Thermopolis is a nice day trip and the ride through Wind River Canyon is worth the trip by itself.
