So interesting thing my vin apparently returns multiple Trim levels when I search it one right one incorrect. My insurance quote was wrong at first as well the vin will bring back a trd pro or a sr5 4x4(the sr5 is correct) anyone ever seen this?

When I traded my ‘19 Pro for a ‘21 Pro my insurance agent (Allstate) said my premium was increasing by about $235 per month. I had them run the quote 3 times and it came back the same every time. I switched my insurance to Georgia Farm Bureau and my premium was about the same as it was before. I thought it was just some kind of weird Allstate issue. You’re the only other person I’ve heard that had a similar issue.

Pretty much I got a quote on a similar truck to what I was looking for ahead of time and when he added the actual truck it was significantly more and and noticed on the paper work it said TRD pro, I called him up he said that was what the vin brought back (it does the same thing for me on a few websites) I assured him it was a 4x4 Sr5 not a TRD and he corrected the Trim which lowered the cost back to what I was expecting it was just odd.

State Farm did this to me too... Claimed I had a Ford Mustang GT, but the Vin detected that was a lie, cuz it was a lowly Celica with 4 cylinders and a GT badge...

I am just seriously glad he didn't make a big stink about it and insist I didn't know what the truck was/is.

My dumb ass paid for this service for 2 years, before I switched to AAA and drop my premium by 2 thousand a year... The GT was just over 2 times the car payment, if it was a GTS, the payment would've been 3-5 times the car payment. Might as well be a Lamborghini..
